Banff was 95% maskless. It was awesome. Took awhile to convince my daughter we were allowed to go without.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Banff got rid of the bylaw … only Calgary stands with a mask bylaw in place …

Not much of a rebel move but I went into a gas station for some ice without wearing a mask in high river earlier today.

Got a couple glares from Karen’s

Be respectful of businesses as they've been through a lot the past 18 months. If they have signage up for masks then be respectful and wear a mask, at this point what's a few more trips to the store with one on. If you don't like that then you can try and go elsewhere and 'speak with your money' but please don't be a asshat and take it out on the employees.

Follow the sign on the door, that's how I'm planning to handle this going forward. You may see different signs inside the city than outside, but whatever, just follow the sign on the door or don't walk through the door.

The rules are do all your shopping outside of Calgary. Mask free is bliss, especially while toting around young kids with you.

The downside is that simply not walking through the door won't change the policies. All the business will see is that everyone going in is wearing a mask, therefore the policy must be accepted and popular. If they ask someone who comes in without one to put one on and receive a polite "thanks, but I'll shop elsewhere" and then the potential customer leaves, they'll see their business going elsewhere and the policy will change. No need to be a jerk or aggressive about it, it's possible to be polite about taking you business somewhere else

Won't really work if the big chains keep a mask policy, apparently Sobeys/Safeway isn't, but the smaller ones would change fairly quickly if they start seeing customers drop off as a direct result of their policy.

I took off the sign at my door. Idc if you wear one or not at my place. I still however wear one when I go out.

Nobody wearing masks up in Edmonton. Hell our hotel breakfast is a buffet haha. Felt so weird day 1, now it’s normal. It’s going to be weird back in Calgary.

Technically in place until Dec 31, but they meet on Monday to talk about repealing it early. Chahal and Farrell have been making it well known the last two days how they plan to vote

Any takers on “just two more weeks” to piss off kenney and keep the meme going?

I honestly see them pushing it to the end of July, as of Monday I’m just going to stop anyways.
