The investigation is all for show, with carefully hand selected experts that are going to be guided to the “correct” conclusion.

What's surprising is the WHO actually being allowed to pretend they were going to investigate something. China is a piece of shit.

Can we start with the quebec style fines / stupid taxes now?

School notified of a positive test result today - last day at school was yesterday.

So... You've had symptoms, gotten tested... And went to school anyway...

    Fines! Big fricken Fines!

TL;DR - Texas and California have nearly identical results for fatalities, despite the polar opposite approaches they've taken. (I do recommend reading it though, it's a decent article and <2min read)

Probably has something to do with no one obeying lockdown measures anyway.

California population density: 254 residents per square mile
Texas population density: 110 residents per square mile

Not really any surprise that more people in a smaller area leads to more spread. The fact that they have the same number of deaths with 40% more people goes to show that things are actually working. If California had the same death rate as Texas there would be an extra 11,000 deaths.

So what you are saying is overpopulated democrat cities are the problem?

I think anyone could have told you that well before the pandemic.

This. Even if WHO were to be let in i doubt they'd have free reign to investigate anything they wanted. It would be like the reporter vids on YT of the guys getting access to N Korea, they have to stay at a certain hotel and basically everywhere they go is dictated by their korean rep.

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

What is the % of the states population living in dense urban areas? Id bet its close to the same.

This only applies if the society is highly rural, like Finland for eg. or northern SK.

Using the the main city portions of the 3 largest.

    Dallas - 3956 ppl/sq mi
    Houston - 5304 ppl/sq mi
    San Antonio - 2944 ppl/sq mi

    LA - 8,485 ppl/sq mi
    San Fransico - 18,790 ppl /sq mi
    San Diego - 4369 ppl/sq mi

Using the metro areas is similar too. California is nearly twice as dense of people across the board.

Almost like there is a very tangible benefit of having low population density. I'll need to remember this when people say the cost of sprawl is too high.
