But I think it's weird to think of a virus sitting on our olfactory senses. These unknown symptoms are why I don't want this shit.
It's like the day after Molly. Everything tastes like cardboard lol

Grilling like a champion.
Went in for a test down at the southport facility, no symptoms but was in contact with someone who came down ill and was concerned. Overall a really embarrassing experience cause when i see a doctor with a swab i just assume its for urethras.

No need to be embarrassed. Medical professionals are always discreet.

Other than this article pointing to 2 visitors, AHS has been quiet. The Foothills COVID-19 outbreaks have become both the largest and deadliest in an Alberta acute-care facility since the start of the pandemic. As of Friday, 86 infections were linked to the outbreaks, and a total of 11 patients in the hospital had died of the virus.

I am not surprised given I have seen how easy it was to get into the facility without any way to confirm/trace visitor's whereabouts. It's not hard to bypass the screeners by lying and there is 0 consequences to lie.
We need rapid tests tbh. Screen people for access and if they test positive immediately start isolating people. Don't wait for staff to start having symptoms. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If the regulators would stop being a bunch of bitches, we would have rapid tests right now.

There is a period where you would be infectious but proved negative on these test strips. If paper-based tests are like binoculars, current PCR tests are like the Hubble telescope. They will find even the tiniest amount of virus fragments, often days before you are infectious and for weeks after you’ve recovered and can’t transmit to anyone. Paper-based tests detect massive quantities of virus in your body, around the time when you are infectious and have enough virus in your bloodstream and body fluids to transmit to someone else. You could show no symptoms at all, and could be spreading COVID to your loved ones, classmates or work colleagues without knowing.
But on the other hand, if you distribute these in volume, people like @Sentry that is basically asymptomatic can have a cheap and safe way to find out quickly and take appropriate action. End of the day, people are spreading it right now without knowing anyway. Having these available will at least take a portion of population off circulation and make everyone safer.
It will also be much better meter stick for entry to any establishment like hospitals instead just asking 10 questions and hope the subject doesn't lie.

Edmonton continuing it's "winning" with over double the daily new cases of Calgary. On pace to surpass Calgary in total cases in a few weeks.
Maybe trump is right and everyone in Calgary is already immune.
