    I mean, I guess it's an upward trend . . . . But that's pretty subtle

Total hospitalizations are dropping daily, so hard to justify any restrictions on that basis. ~100 new cases per day isn't that alarming, even if we were at half that a couple weeks ago.

Surely hospitalisations and ICU numbers are the only metrics that matter now?

173 cases on Friday though isn't a great sign. They removed some previous 'errors' which is why the site only says 90 though.

Why is it not a good sign? What conclusion are we to draw?

Then they should just move back to the US …
If anyone doesn't agree with your biased ignorant world view, they should just leave. Makes perfect sense.

Hospitalization lags and will start to go up … does it plateau or continue to go up that is the question … we have seen this In other countries and now it’s running out of control …

They were the only numbers that ever really mattered. The other numbers were just metrics to predict those ones.

We're at a stage in the pandemic when it is much more difficult to compare across jurisdictions, or use one jurisdiction as a predictor for another.

As much as I hate the Stampede I think it's hilarious people thought it would be the end of the world.... Google pictures of the Richmond night market opening night this Friday if you want to be shocked about having no restrictions lol we decided not to go because it looked uncomfortable even without the existence of Covid.

City of St.Louis has reinstated indoor mask mandate due to variant, even those vaccinated. AG will file a suit against the city for this madness. I can see this idiocy spilling into parts of Canada if cases go up this fall.

I just look and say, what are the Asian people around me doing.
    Still wearing masks indoors? Yep!
They're seasoned vets at this. Should be a bit more cautious.
But also Richmond market showed very little outdoor mask use.
