Interested to see what kind of powers city hall has to enact restrictions
Nenshi is always going to jump on the popular side.
If Flooding was viewed as a positive thing by the majority, he'd been upstream guzzling Culligan bottles and pissing in the Bow River in 2013.

He admitted a few weeks ago they didn't have much power (shutting down certain business sectors, etc)......so very interested to see what he thinks they can do as he is the king of Karen's
This is Nenshi playing politics again, just like when he was claiming that Kenney stole all his enforcement powers. I'm not sure why anyone expected action from a group of people who are concerned about not rocking the boat in an election year.

Playground were shutdown previously as well. Which, coming from someone with small children, was quite ridiculous.

I saw some people saying anti maskers should have to pay health care. Sounds good! Fatties and smokers too? Oh, not them?

Being overweight isn't always a personal choice. Genetics, upbringing, financial status all play a part. And smokers already pay more for it. Do you know how much cigarettes cost these days and how much of that is taxes?

Better idea. Let’s make everyone pay for their own healthcare.

I just heard they'd position snipers by the anti mask rallys and they'd shoot the attendees. I mean as long as it's one shot one kill that works fine. Our hospitals can't take the strain of a bunch of not dead gunshot victims. Better hope those snipers are well trained.

Much better to have someone else pay for your healthcare.

Let's make that Onterrible prof from the University of Twattawa pay for a bunch of Albertans.
Then deport him... To whatever country hates Iran the most, this week.

Show me that the categorization of CoVid-19 has changed from droplet to airborne.
If you think droplet means it has to be spread on toast, I can't help you.
Seriously man, you're arguing with yourself here. I never said the categorization changed. I'm pretty sure I'm well versed in the PPE needs of this virus in numerous forms, and you're just here to be inflammatory or a troll, I can't really tell.

I have nothing helpful to add, but surely someone on Beyond.ca has the authority to sanction this R value, right? We can't have unsanctioned values out there.
My stupidity and the Calgary herald is sort of relevant?
When asked about the R-value — the reproductive rate of the virus — Hinshaw said she did not have the number in front of her. Alberta Health did not respond to requests for information on the current R-value.

You called it airborne when it is droplet. Then you mocked me when I gently suggested that was a mistake.

The article you just cited reiterates the following fact:
The term “airborne transmission” has a specialized meaning in public health practice

And it also states (in the very first words of the article, so it's a bit hard to miss):
"The principal mode by which people are infected with SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) is through exposure to respiratory droplets carrying infectious virus."

So, with respect to trolling or arguing with one's self or being inflammatory, I think it's time for you to point that finger right up your ass. You claim to work in the medical field and you are using medically incorrect terms from your own field and citing articles that discredit your own stance.

This one is the dumbest thing to argue about as that article basically say majority of transmission is not airborne except indoor, especially indoor with poor air circulation.

So you are both right. It's not airborne by definition except in certain environments.

This is why Japanese advertise their bullet train and plane cabin replace air in 2-7min intervals to keep everyone at ease.

    Predictions on today's presser?

Either nothing at all, or perhaps slightly tighter capacity on shops (20% of capacity instead of 25%)
