Sorry. I think Reading > Me on this one as I was in a hurry and may have found an article that wasn't what I was after...

I believe Pfizer is on record saying something like "the trials were done with everyone receiving the second dose N days after the first dose and we can't guarantee shit if someone else arbitrarily decides to stretch to N+_____ days between doses."
*where N is somewhere near 21.
They made the vaccine... So I'd tend to side with them.

Meanwhile, the WHO (sooooo credibility) is saying "Nah, Brah. You totes fine if you wait 42 days for second dose!"

    Am I wrong?
And as of today, AHS has officially changed the strategy to be 35-42 days for the second dose and are scheduling all future appointments as such (my original appt was 21 days, and when I changed my date to sooner it also went to the new timeline)

Using the the main city portions of the 3 largest.

    Dallas - 3956 ppl/sq mi
    Houston - 5304 ppl/sq mi
    San Antonio - 2944 ppl/sq mi

    LA - 8,485 ppl/sq mi
    San Fransico - 18,790 ppl /sq mi
    San Diego - 4369 ppl/sq mi

Using the metro areas is similar too. California is nearly twice as dense of people across the board.
Interesting, Calgary is 4193 / sq mi for comparison.

well, vaccinating the most economically productive members of society is a pretty smart financial decision. Insurance companies know the value of each life, and let me tell you, seniors and children are worth the least.

I'm a little surprised as our numbers are the same as when they implemented the latest restrictions, but again, we know the restrictions don't work anyways so I'm glad I can get a haircut again.

I too need to get my pre going into lockdown again haircut... I wonder why the number of frontline workers are only filling 15% of the available spots for the vaccine... I thought they would be lined up out the door as it’s the new sliced bread these days

Haircuts are yet another thing I have saved money on for the last year. Went from getting it done every 5-6 weeks to once every... well I've only had it done twice since March haha. I'll be somewhat disappointed when we get back to real life. Aside from not having the option to go out for a drink now and then and not being able to use the golf simulator at my club, it's basically been great haha.

They either don’t have time or don’t believe in it.

The key is everyone wants one get one. Looks like the immunizers are not on the priority list for a good reason too. They get to draw on who get to get the shot if there are cancellation or left over at end of the day to reduce waste.

I mean, if you get vaccinated, you get less opportunity to take “sick days”.

Ahh sick days. I remember when I used to be able to take those. I anticipate I won't get another one until I retire, unless I'm physically unable to speak/type.
