They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

People who think masks are a solution for anyone but healthcare professionals should stay away from me if they are sick or not.
Meh. If people want to wear masks what do I care as it doesn't affect me in any way. The only mask related thing I have never been able to get my head around is the sheer amount of people I see driving with masks on when they are alone in the car. I'm pretty sure that cars can't transmit COVID.

It is a problem because health care officials are at the "maybe it doesn't help, but it doesn't hurt!" stage of mask wearing.

It's already coming back in places.

Yeah I think that's true in some cases but not the majority. Some people are willing to do whatever it takes in their minds to ensure they will live forever.

The funny part is the risk of death/injury from driving is like 10000X more than the risk of the sniffles.

I see mostly senior citizens, who are not only slow and dangerous behind the wheel, are now wearing masks that fog up their thick glasses. A win-win for society.

Covid finally went through our house for the first time (that we know of). My wife and kids are more or less fine, but this is the sickest I can remember being. I feel like I've unlocked some sort of achievement.
When we were down 4/9, one of them also caught it in Feb and said this one hits different.

2 weeks since, 1 fully recovered (symptomless), 1 almost kicked it (rough voice). 1 still can't walk around more than 30mins and 1 still totally out.

Ages 30s to late 50s. So all I can extrapolate from this is don't be old.

The forced vaccine deployment was a huge accomplishment.
FTFY. The vaccine itself turned out to be one of the biggest waste of time, effort, and money, in human history.

Out of the all the things that can kill you and give you long-term effects in this world, vaccines and boosters are at the bottom of things I worry about.
    Somewhere down around covid.

Vaccine was a good thing - philosophy aside, it allowed the confidence for the world to claw back to normality.

We’re still working on getting there.
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

Yes there was a psychological benefit to releasing a vaccine and easing peoples fears about opening back up. The question is whether we needed that psychological crutch at all, if people hadn't been plied with misinformation and fear porn propaganda about the sniffles for 2 years?

Hey do you happen to know if the vaccines have been and continue to be updated to reflect the variants and assorted mutations?
I assume we're not tripling and quad'ing up on a vaccine for a virus from 7 variants ago.

The available vax is the same one since the beginning… there is a new one coming in the fall that covers variants.

I really wonder what could be the cause of all these "Unexplained" deaths. Hmmm. Alberta is reporting an unprecedented increase in ill-defined and unknown causes of death in 2021.

What's Going on here? A bunch of Young doctors dying after a 4th booster? 3 dying in a 3 day period days after getting the 4th Shot. All three at Trillium Health in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
    Dates of death: July 17, 18, 20.
