You're completely missing the point. But it's fine.
No, you don't understand how testing works. But then again, it seems no one does these days.

No you stack 9 on top of 9 so it equals 9. Do you need a graph?

Somebody get a damn graph in here! Where are all the middle age EITs god dammit.
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

    Definitely coming up.
@Everyone : anyone following specific states stats? I’ve been interested in Michigan lately, and the governor has given up. She said let the people do as they please.

Up to 10,000 new cases daily, was at 4200 hospitalizations a week ago.

They’re just under 10 million population, we’re just under 9 million. How can they sustain and cope, but our healthcare is in shambles?? Or potentially will be will with 500 more hospitalizations?

I’m curious. The rumours of AHS staffing (30%) taking extended leave, personal days and saying fuck it is interesting.

Does the union talks have anything to do with restrictions behind closed doors?

    Just spitballing
US spends double per capita for health care compared to Canada so my simple mind tells me that should translate to bigger capacity as wel.

Immigration just approved 90k PR for health sector for TFWs or recent grads. Hopefully that can help shore up the number a bit.

This is a war we are fighting, fatigue eventually show up.

As for Michigan, they are probably got infected by us Canadians as no other states seems to have such huge 3rd wave but it's easing as soon as Ontario went into lockdown. Their curve is very similar to ours. As for vaccination rate, we are at 17% and Mich is at 33%.

Foreign trolls aren't even trying anymore.

The US is in a really awkward spot right now, with rising vaccinations they have to ease restrictions otherwise they'll start getting more pushback. When you say 60% vaccinated = no more masks then people have an incentive to get the shots (similar to what AB is doing) whereas if Michigan goes back into a lockdown then people will just stop caring and lose faith in the vaccines.

The disparity in some states vaccination uptake is really unsettling though. On one end you have New Hampshire with 58%, and then Massachusetts , Connecticut, Maine, and Vermont all at 50% with one dose whereas on the other end you have Missouri below 30%, and Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana, Wyoming, and Idaho, West Virginia, and Georgia all at 33% or below. The latter group having nearly stalled lately too.

Interestingly by next Saturday Canada's 1st dose average will actually be ahead of 7 states. By May 15th we're set to pass just shy of half of the states for 1st doses.
If you compare the vaccination uptake to the state's majority political stance, it explains everything I bet.

    Fixed.
    Nailed it.

Everyone has their acceptable death to economic benefit tolerance ratio. As an example, most of us accept the government not widening large parts of the Trans Canada highway because "only" a relative few people die to justify the expense.

Interestingly, some seem to be utilizing that same philosophy in this case - despite the exponentially higher death toll.

    It's all in the self-justification.

    Catching up on this thread...

I’ve never wanted to pin someone down and rub my fat belly all over their face, but for you I’d make an exception. I might even avoid washing my deep ass belly button to make it that much more enjoyable. Your post history screams fat fetish, let’s see your porn history, bucko!
Being fat is not ok, especially in a socialised healthcare system.

35% of injuries in Canada happen during some form of sport or exercise. Can we ban medical care for those self induced injuries too?

The government wants you to be fat and reliant on them.
They want that to trickle into your own finances too. Be lazy. Trudeau will care of it all.
