Alberta is actually doing quite awesome at 1600/m.
Yep. Actually pretty happy with how Alberta is responding to this as a whole.

Government cannot hold our hand for everything like some people are expecting. Amazing how some people survive without government guiding them every fucking step of the way.

It'll be a week before we see the impact of the mass gather ban and now the school ban but overall I'm pretty happy with the measures were taking.

Still hope they can expand testing to catch community cases asap and not just test people with direct contact or travel

Some states ordering all bars and restaurants closed - expect many more places to follow suit soon.

Curious on another thing - If you go and pick up people returning from out of country, wouldn't you then have to quarantine due to that contact with possibly infected people? Maybe hauling the camper to the airport is the trick, and don't get out of the truck. ha

    Mainland Chinese are savages.
Yeah they are, but realistically the only difference we do here is put it behind closed doors and then wrap it in plastic wrap. Somethings gotta be chopped up somewhere along the line to get your meat.

A couple of gems floating around:

'I notice the press is saying how many males and females are getting the virus. It's amazing how all the other 57 genders aren't getting it.'

Psssh, Alberta will be just fine - assuming we can make it to summer. Its the USA that punishes the majority of the poor population with crappy healthcare, which of course in an epidemic means that everyone will catch it eventually.

USA lots of nukes, lots of guns, plenty of fat people. Which is admirable (in a twisted sense). But they also have the lowest life expectancy of the civilized world, even though they spend 3x as much as anyone else. USA spent a shit ton of money and effort on everything - except for healthcare for the majority. OE: Keep it as a "elite" you get what you pay for system, and if you can't afford it you don't get it.

This pandemic is reminding me of all the companies I signed up for via emails. Time to unsubscribe unnecessary ones.

Except Blaze Pizza because their Pi Day offer is till December

Employee (CBSA) at Pearson tested positive.

Rumour right now - but one of my wifes friends who works for the fed govt is saying we are going to have an Italy style lockdown announced tomorrow night.

Unsure if true - but if so - hope everyones stocked up on puzzles and other shit to keep them busy. I just wish it was warm enough to grab my camper and get the fuck out of here.

Went into work to grab my dock, setup everything at home, helping get my staff setup. Been on conference calls all day and tomorrow is looking the same.

Roads were eerily quiet as I was heading to the office and gas showing 77.9.

    Weird weird feeling.
