Swedes are just better at culling old people. Ever watch an EI kid talk back to his parents?

It definitely seems to me than most pie in the sky lockdown ideas are pretty impossible to actually implement.

But yea wtf is Jason Kenney thinking
Speaking of Kenney, #whereiskenney is trending....

Maybe this is all a low key way to keep CPP more solvent for the future?

I get that he's in isolation, but pretty sure the majority of the world has figured out how to work remotely... where the F is this guy? Hasnt been seen since his remote call 10 days ago

Twitter is a socialist bastion in any case, I don’t pay it much mind.

    OAS/GIS which is all liabilities.

CPP can stay solvent if you just dial up the premium.

Just seems like a valid question given Ford has been on TV almost daily and Ontario had it much better than AB % case wise.

Epidemiologists see school closures as a way to keep people home from work and reduce transmission that results from workplaces, lunch places, commutes, work meetings, etc.

If your calculus is economy over old people, then keepings schools open should be a priority. Keeping schools open is one area where both sides should agree.

But people don't think that way, rather they look at schools staying open as some sort of grand hypocrisy by parents who don't want THEIR lives impacted. Not the case.
I'm all for closing schools, especially when we're at the point where 80%+ of cases can't be traced for whatever reason. We've already decided that businesses can be restricted based on similar data.

My point was more along the line that there is probably a good chunk of people that have been willing to push for more restrictions in other areas because they aren't hugely impacted. Moving school back online is a significant change and a lot of people aren't going to like it because of the impact it has on them.

OAS/GIS is easy to make go away, just stop applying inflationary increases.

JT was in isolation as well, yet his announcement was still happening on a daily basis. Someone need to set up shop on front of his door steps.

There's a lot of economic reasons to want old people dead . . . .

    I mean, that's kinda cold, but well . . . .

Solve the problem but don't let it impact me. Sounds accurate

I just find it an irony that a socialist program is there to keep old voter based around to avoid society turning total socialist/communist.

Closing schools has an impact on everyone. That's why it should be a last resort. It's also an effective way to force people into quarantining, because half the population can't go to work.

School closers have broad impacts on the economy....there is no impacting "them", it impacts everyone.
