I would think they'd pick a smaller base that's more rural and west coast...

Trenton doesn't make a shit ton of sense given its pretty much the central hub of Canada's military. If you were having an outbreak somewhere - you'd think that would be the last place to choose...

Cold lake isn’t that much smaller however all their hangars and buildings are pretty much full. Trenton has much better facilities for sure but it’s unknown where their quarantine zone will be. Hangars are reserved for airplanes and are in short supply as is, so 300 people to quarantine will be difficult. I can see people in Trenton already freaking out over this.

Fuck all of GTA is freaking... And probably fairly correctly. It's basically a big unknown they're bringing there to Canada's most populous area... Right on the 401 too...

I assumed they'd use a smaller base they could mostly evacuate out non-essential, that's not near a major population center. Just in case everything we think we know turns out to be wrong....

Putting it in the GTA... Pretty much at one of the biggest bases is logistically easy, but a nightmare... How many members are assigned there 10,000? It's pretty much the hub for the Canadian forces...

lol no way, probably no more than 3-4k. It's the hub for the transport fleet and biggest air base for the forces.

EDIT: Looks like they will be placed in the Yukon Lodge (hotel style building on base) as it's being cleared out currently. That or the rundown cadet trailers which I've had the pleasure of staying in one night. 14 days in those I'd hope the virus kills me first.

IMHO, I have never get anything from China that takes less 1 month any more. Lucky if it's 6 weeks.
