Aside from may…it’s stayed pretty average
    That graph supports my point.

    It refuted your argument?

I’m not trying to dispute the vax vs unvax, and agree with you 99% of the time on all vis covid shit…..the fact of the matter is, ICU numbers have stayed fairly static regardless of why they are in there

I suppose that's true if you think ~70 is similar to ~90.

80 - 90….but ok …you seem want to it ignore the number stayed fairly linear between the last wave and this regardless of cause.

Moral of the story….get vaxxed….if you gonna die, you gonna die regardless

Early Treatment and Prophylaxis is Key, not isolating until things get worse and then have to go to the hospital. Speed is the key. Don’t wait to talk to your doctor, get tested or “see how I feel tomorrow”. If one gets symptoms get going immediately. Don’t delay.

But what does that even mean???, when Health Canada doesn't having any prevention advice, no treatments or prophylaxis advice they will give. It is quite astounding when studies and Doctors have shown how effective early treatment with cheap drugs like HCQ and Ivermectin have been including this Study from the NIH.

    -->https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7996102/
Exploring the binding efficacy of ivermectin against the key proteins of SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis: an in silico approach

Aim: COVID-19 is currently the biggest threat to mankind. Recently, ivermectin (a US FDA-approved antiparasitic drug) has been explored as an anti-SARS-CoV-2 agent. Herein, we have studied the possible mechanism of action of ivermectin using in silico approaches. Materials & methods: Interaction of ivermectin against the key proteins involved in SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis were investigated through molecular docking and molecular dynamic simulation. Results: Ivermectin was found as a blocker of viral replicase, protease and human TMPRSS2, which could be the biophysical basis behind its antiviral efficiency. The antiviral action and ADMET profile of ivermectin was on par with the currently used anticorona drugs such as hydroxychloroquine and remdesivir. Conclusion: Our study enlightens the candidature of ivermectin as an effective drug for treating COVID-19.

But no, they'll happily wait until ppl go to the Hospital instead of an effective and cheap Outpatient treatment where hospitals won't have the patients in them, but of course, Politics, Control, $$$. In fact, even the high risk ppl would be able to take it as prevention and has been recommended by doctors.

All that it means is surgeries and other procedures are being put off for Albertians in need.

The work load is very different for nurses as well the ppe requirements are crazy for covid patients.

I know nearly nothing about how the AHS system works, but how many procedures are normally done in an ICU unit that are being "put off"?

On an unrealted note, I now know three school-aged kids who've been sick already, so far just "normal colds" and all have tested negative for tehcovidz.

Some surgeries just end up there.

Makes sense to use all the "spots" in a system for something rather than keeping them empty I guess.

I think for a long time (decades?) we knew what the ICU demand would be and could manage an appropriate amount of excess capacity for the occasions when we needed a few more spot than normal. Then Covid happened.

The ICU capacity is so normal they’re starting to offer private sector wages to get nurses here

Why so mopey when this is exactly what you wanted?

The flaws of the public health system being revealed: they can't pay the wages to be competitive enough, so private sector solutions are needed.

Not that. The person feels that Kenney not restricting everyone's freedoms makes the outcomes of Covid his fault.

It's how dumb dumb leftists think, I realize.

Leftists are incapable of functioning without the government to tell them when to breath.
