I know, but there's no way I would. Like I don't think I'd lock myself in the basement, but I'd try to be reasonable. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Fuk dem oldies, amirite?
What are the typical symptoms, these days? Still the fever and sore throat as the dominant indicators? Or is it more of a GI thing, recently?
I assume all the normal cold symptoms are there in spades, just asking what's the odd thing that will make a person fairly confident they have it.
When I had the OG in 2020 it was body aches and a crushing red wine hangover headache for about four days, and a loss of smell for two weeks.
Never had a fever, never had a sore throat, never had a cough, never had a stuffy nose.
Nothing gave us a quicker culture shift in NA than Covid because it is frowned upon by most to go to work sick now. Love it.
Top Cardiologist Warns ‘Unexpected Deaths’ Are Linked to Covid Shots
He argued in a scientific paper that evidence shows that the risk of harm is greater than any benefit.
After further research, Malhotra has issued fresh warnings to the public last week.
“It is my duty and responsibility as a consultant cardiologist and public health campaigner to urgently inform doctors, patients, and members of the public that the COVID mRNA vaccine has likely played a significant role of being a primary cause in all unexpected cardiac arrests, heart attacks, strokes, cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure since 2021, until proven otherwise,” Malhotra said in a video statement posted to Twitter this week.

Ran through our family before Disneyland. One kid had a fever a couple hours, tested positive for 2 days, and that was it. Mom had it the worst, fever, headache, sore throat, knocked her out for a day or 2, tested positive for almost a full week. I wouldn't have known anything was wrong if I wasn't testing for curiosity sake. I had a super faint positive line for 1 day and that was it. Tried actively catching it too prior to the trip, didn't work with the kids, worked with mom. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I did notice on the disney trip there were a lot of families that looked and sounded like death. Coughing, dripping with sweat, just looked fucked up. I mean if they spent so much money on a disney trip, they're going to tough it out covid or not.

Isn't that just typical Disney visitors? Probably more walking between rides than most of them do in a month. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

(An easy reading review, all links to the original paper and many critical reviews of the study's methodology located in link. Fraiman's study of Malhotra's paper is stats heavy and not easy to read as it goes deeply into the data manipulation aspect of the data analysis, and is the most glaring for me.)
An example of methodology flaws in Malhotra study: Instances of severe and adverse events include, diarrhea; arthritis; covid19 hospitalization; all being equal to one another, but not in all groups.

That's the point. If you didn't take it upon yourself to think you need to test for some god unknown reason at this point, you would never know. You'd just think you're ill, like usual. Testing is like a traffic cop, 100% useless to society. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Everyone I know who has gotten it in the past month or so has said the sore throat is the worst part. One guy at work said it felt like someone took sand paper to the inside of his throat. When we had it back in june I didn't get a sore throat at all, just horrible body aches, fatigue and headache. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Symptoms in my family seem to not conform to any discernable pattern. The kid who can get a cough from anything, did not get a cough. The kid who never gets sinus colds, got sinus. I had the sore throat for a few days, chest cough. None of us got fevers.
Everyone got the fatigue I guess, so there's that.
Question is how long the fatigue lasts. Someone I know has been fatigued for months.
The first time I had Covid (pre vaccination) I had fatigue/tiredness for approximately six months, the second time (double vaccinated) I would say it lasted a month to six weeks and the third time (triple vaccinated) two weeks. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
