City of St.Louis has reinstated indoor mask mandate due to variant, even those vaccinated. AG will file a suit against the city for this madness. I can see this idiocy spilling into parts of Canada if cases go up this fall.
There is a reason why they want 85% vaccinated with 2 doses.

US has shown us 50% is pointless.

But Delta wave should be over in about a month. Just the hospitals and morgues will be pushed to the limit again.

At this point everyone should’ve got both doses - I think there are no age restrictions anymore. People who die from Covid that choose not to be vaccinated (besides under 12), are in the same category as those who die from smoking, obesity or any other activity that increases risks based on personal choice. Hospitals need to put unvaccinated sick people to the back of the line.

I got my second does yesterday morning. Did anyone else get hard side effects...?
My god... this has wiped me out. Severe muscles aches, tiredness, my whole body felt like it was on fire, plus the heat and cold chills. At one point in the night I got hallucinations. This morning felt like a freight train hit my head. I got the same heat/cold chills. Im wrapped up on the sofa with a blanket...
At one point I could not even get up to make a cup of tea..

My nephew got the same symptoms a few days ago.. it did not help he went out drinking the night before..

Grab your popcorn ready for the aftermath of today’s announcement.

No more isolation required if you test positive after August 16, last provincial mask mandates end on August 16, no more testing unless you’re in hospital or high risk setting after August 31

And as we come to the end of the bullshit, I've just had to book at PCR test for a customer site...thought I'd managed to get away with it!

Bit of a cheek as they're in the High Level catchment, more likely to catch it up there than take it with me, dirty anti-vaxxers

I got my 2nd pfizer yesterday at 2:15pm. So far it is 29.5 hours later and I'm fine. Slightly sore shoulder of course, but even the first shot I got flush and warm for a few hours. This time it's nothing. Wife got hers at the same time, her shoulder is WAY more sore this time around. She is really tired she said, but I think that is more to do with the baby not sleeping worth a shit the last two nights.

That is the weirdest thing about all this. Something that is so non partisan, has become this strange political battling point, and the left has chosen a staunch stance of science denial for some reason.

The left is retarded on policy, and the right is retarded on vaccines.

    Even steven.

(Insofar as the Left/Right label is useful any more.)

The unsatisfying answer is it depends and has nothing to do with Left/Right policymaking. Left or right, some countries have fared better than others for various reasons and the least of which is how Liberal or Conservative they are.

Sorted by deaths per 100K, there is no obvious trend.

    Ivermectin is the Cure

-team of researchers including 3 US government senior scientists are calling for governments around the world to start treating patients with ivermectin, with their findings revealing that the drug not only prevents people from contracting COVID, but defeats the virus and saves lives

-they conducted the most comprehensive review of the available data on Ivermectin

-Researchers conducted a comprehensive review of 27 reports from clinical, in vitro , animal and real-world studies including 15 randomized controlled trials

-the findings found treating patients with ivermectim resulted in large drops in deaths and the recovery time and time it takes to clear Covid19 from the system saw significant reductions among patients

-also, 3 randomized controlled trials and observational controlled trails which included 200 healthy participants showed ivermectin noticeably reducies the risk of getting Covid

-many regions around the world recognize ivermectin as a powerful prophylaxis and treatment such as South Africa, Zimbabwe, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Mexica and India who have approved

-Our latest research shows, once again, that when the totality of the evidence is examined, there is no doubt that ivermectin is highly effective as a safe prophylaxis and treatment for COVID-19," said Paul E. Marik, M.D., FCCM, FCCP, founding member of the FLCCC and Chief, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. "We can no longer rely on many of the larger health authorities to make an honest examination of the medical and scientific evidence. So, we are calling on regional public health authorities and medical professionals around the world to demand that ivermectin be included in their standard of care right away so we can end this pandemic once and for all

But of course this was known long ago, but it was ignored and still ignored because of $$$, Politics and Control of the Population

That is such an utter bullshit graph that you should feel ashamed for posting that shit.

The biggest, non-partisan reason being its for FULLY vaxx'd only. You literally could not get your 2nd shot in a lot of areas (even in Canada) until recently.

Not only that, but the rollout of available quantities and facilities (rural areas, which vote republican more, could possibly have a harder time getting vaccines. I live rural, wanted to get my 2nd pfizer in Edmonton, nobody was allowing it without an appointment. I work shift work, when I am in town is when I'm available).

So yea. Shit data is shit.

Your personal experience in rural Alberta has absolutely zero to do with with vaccine availability per county in the US.
