How do you figure? The criteria for step 2 was <450 hospitalizations, were at 294. So unless we somehow find 150+ hospitalizations in the next few days...
I honestly thought it was 300. Not sure where i got that now.

Under 300 was for the next step to happen to further ease things which we did meet but then things started increasing again, not just here but elsewhere as well so they paused reopening and added wording that hospitalizations needing to be declining as well to move forward.

Cochrane has reached peak idiot. Mask use is mandatory while in the pool. Unless you’re under 18, then you don’t have to; but you have to have a parent in the pool with you.

Our swimming instructor got covid from a person she was teaching while in the pool and she was wearing a face mask.

I'd prefer to save the $14 in admission fees and waterboard myself in the comfort of my own home, thank you very much.

Can we not switch to everyone wear scuba gear at a pool?
Just seems like the most logical government step/law to implement.

Pools shall be drained and fractured so that they cannot be illegally filled & used until Hair Justin & Dr. Skeletor tell us it's ok.
SNC Lavalin shall be used for all work, including the re-commissioning and repairs.

Those are just the staff, not the patrons lol. My friend works for another Joey location and gave us the inside scoop.
Crowfoot? Reddit says they've just shut the doors for an outbreak.

I also just got kicked out of work because we had our first positive case. They're going to fog the whole building and wait until they figure out who might have been close contacts in the building, if any. I'm not overly concerned for myself as I've barely been physically close to anyone, except walking down hallways but we all wear masks.

    First time fogger.
    Welcome to the club.
Sucks to be told they're fogging end of day when you've been in that air the whole day when your boss had the news the day before and stayed home.
Has happened to me 3 or 4 times when I was in the office.

I saw 294 hospitalizations on the news last nights. Looks like we're going 1 step back in a few days.
Why? We didn't even get to the next step for 300 hospitalizations. We would have to get back to 450 hospitalizations to go back a step. Although, the government has proved to continuously lie about everything in regards to covid. So we very well could see a step back regardless of numbers.

Edit- NM, just saw your next post.

Every time I walk into Eau Claire I wonder if it's finally closed for good because it feels like I'm the only person in there

Eau Claire is the abandoned, shitty version of The Forks in Winnipeg and the Winnipeg one is also very shitty so you do the math.

Hey someone scratch up some statistics for me. Did COVID-19 do much to change the demographics of our country? Did a significant number of "extra" old fuckers die this year? Did this skew the country younger by any appreciable margin?

My guess is no, but I'm short of sleep and I have just enough time to post the question not find the answer.
