Canada isn't racists because we let Indian risks into Canada.
I think Trudeau even said, "Su variant mi variant".

I'm going to get a little ZenOps and say, the government isn't fulfilling their basic functions in Canada anymore and it is blatant.
They're definitely not protecting shit on incoming forces.
They're not protecting our economy, that's obvious.
They're not growing our economic pie so to speak.
They've barely holding up a public health system.

    And we pay tax why?

Is flying within Canada considered to be covid safe for essential travel these days?

I wondered about that because they didn't say you couldn't fly to BC.

You can also still fly into the Atlantic bubble. You just have to isolate for 14 days.

This is just trying to tell everyone, including BC rez that everyone stay in place. I doubt there will be any enforcement and there is barely any mention what the fines are. At least QC set fines to be $1-$6K.

Are you going there for an essential reason?

    So no, you aren’t allowed.

Everyone wants more restrictions, except they never apply to themselves.

'not allowed' or 'not encouraged'.. Outdoor recreation has never been a concern as a transmitter, and suddenly it is?

So, to reiterate. Everyone always thinks they are the exception, for some reason or another.

Do what you want, I don’t give 2 shits what you do in the woods in BC. Just don’t pretend you are any better than the rest of society who is breaking the rules when it suits them.

The mental gymnastics around it is always hilarious.

I understand what you are saying, and it's a good point. Everyone wants the restrictions to suit their own comfort level, and that's not how it works.

...but really - if one was to keep to themselves the whole trip, I really do think the risk is exceptionally low of bringing it across the border. But I guess you still get down to what is acceptable risk again. Using a gas pump in BC? A washroom?

Only another two or three months, peeps. It's too late to go stir crazy now.

I'm not trying to pick a fight but you remember "two weeks to flatten the curve" right?

Several times through this cluster fuck I've thought we could see the light at the end of the tunnel but at this point I don't believe anything until I see Wyle E. Coyote standing on the other side.
