That's how I read it. If you have new symptoms, like a common cold, you isolate.

I think that those were "new symptoms" that you successfully ruled out as CoVid by your negative test results. Therefore, they are no longer "new" and your negative CoVid test clears you... to go give other people your cold, legally.

I think the cold/flu season is going to be a shit show, everyone who gets so much a snuffle needs to go book a COVID test, take 2 weeks off work, etc. (depending on policies I guess). Even people who get a normal reaction like mild symptoms for 1-2 days after the flu shot are going to have to get tested/quarantined, etc. until it clears.

It's also really going to suck for parents with kids in Daycare I think.
