I heard that younger people just get autism while older people die.

And of those 4, no doubt 2-3 had preexisting conditions.
There was a story being circulated with a headline about a 31 year old woman who was hospitalized with COVID, and when you actually read the story it's revealed she had pre-existing big ass tumor in her chest she had no knowledge of. But of course everyone was so quick to share it all around due to its horse shit headline.

    https://bc.ctvnews.ca/it-can-happen-...d-19-1.5147480

She’s not out of the woods medically. When doctors were treating her COVID-19, they discovered a large mass in her chest that likely made her infection worse.

“The prognosis, we still don’t know. In November we’ll get my biopsy,” she said about the tumour, which was a pre-existing condition she didn’t know she had.

@Buster and @revelations can argue about what this one means. But if you have someone over 80 in your family, I think that's pretty clear.

I don't like that interpretation or really any interpretation that makes Alberta sound bad.
"recovered" just means no longer has active virus. But a huge number of the recovered people are suffering from a variety of post covid conditions.

Makes claim, posts no supporting evidence.

And honestly, usually you are pretty good at doing so. Everything I have found is anecdotal sensationalized newspaper reporting, or studies so small as to be insignificant.

37,000 total cases in Alberta. A bad flu can have you suffering "post flu" conditions for up to 2 months. Any covid studies that have been done showing things like reduced lung capacity, have shown that capacity coming back within 3-6 months.

I get it that it is your fear mongering point since the 'rona doesn't really kill people below the age of 60 (15 total deaths below 60 in 8 months, wow) even though the number of infected people below the age of 60 is almost at 25,000 compared to the people over 60 only having 3500 recovered cases and hundreds of deaths.

The numbers don't lie sir. Cancer, strokes, heart attack, the 'beetus, all kill more people in a year on their own. But nobody is freaking out about that.

Its pretty eye opening what a facade all of this is, once you turn off mass and social media - and just look at the actual numbers/stats here in perspective instead of "ZOMG 100 NEW CASES TODAY!!!!"

Sounds like most still buy into the fear - if its not death from C19, SURELY you must be affected by it!!!

I have had REALLY bad flu (maybe Covid 11?) a few times where i did lose my sense of smell and it did take several months to feel like i recovered.

Who said it on Twitter back in March? Paraphrasing but essentially:

"If we did it right, deaths overall will be low and people will think it was an over-reaction."

I didn't come up with that concept, but I echoed it a few times here on this humble forum
