If you're getting a cold that "lays you out" for 3 days in the middle of summer, I would have other concerns apart from vacation.

I can certainly appreciate wearing masks in the middle of the covid pandemic, irregardless of what their true efficacy might be, but wearing masks to prevent colds in the middle of summer?

Delta and less effective AZ. But hospitalization stats is still pretty good, although trending the wrong way. There is still 49% of people not FULLY vaccinated in UK and 1 dose is basically useless against Delta.
