wait, so it's cheaper to ignore public health orders? That's a perverse incentive.

Don’t even have to wait in any lines that way. Just find a cop once you get off, politely tell them you’re not taking a test or going to a hotel and ask them for a ticket. Can probably be home before people have had their test

Don't know the situation in GTA. Definitely not the cheapest option but I guess it's an option.

Then the law has done what it's designed to do, increase cost of non-essential travel one way or another to discourage it. The testing is just theater.

Why even look for a cop? Once you leave the international customs area instead of being herded like cattle through those rope lines, just walk out towards the door. Only police can stop you and I doubt minimum wage airport workers will GAF. I'd like to see how they handle a plane full of people who refuse to stand in line, alas Canadians are too polite and prefer to be locked in hotel rooms.

Something like this but less douchey.

Pulling stunts about your rights in international airports always goes well.

You know how hard it is to get off a no fly list? You know how easy it is to get put on one?

In case nobody here has told you, the type of people who think this dude is cool is...very limited (in terms of socioeconomics and personal hygiene).

That's why he said it's a sweet deal. Plus, like Sky mentions in his video, those tickets won't stand in court. They'd be hard pressed to find you guilty of not complying with an order that violates your basic rights and freedoms to begin with.

Which the guy leaving the airport has done in this case. The question is whether you hold your public officials and law enforcement to these standards as well.

I heard things have gone super well for the hockey player named Ocean who respectfully declined to comply with an ordinance.

Your right it has gone well as they dropped all the charges against him.

But his case is quite a bit different than someone legally just walking out of the airport.

Sweet. Did he just bypass the WHL and get on a starting line with Crosby, too?

Based on this short 2 minute video I'd assume he is a rich entitled douche. His message isn't wrong - avoid the lines, hotels and fight the fine in court.

The irony is that the only person who considered if the guy met some vapid metric like being cool or not, is CUG.
