That many all in one spot is probably some sort of environmental factor as a guess. Corona mixing with localized water contaminant or something to that effect.

Scooters are back, not too sure if its better or worse than riding a crowded transit. My advice: keep handy wipes for the handlebars.

Much safer than going on the train tbh since you aren't having to stand by someone breathing. You have one surface you know you should wipedown or bring some disposable gloves (and throw them out in the garbage after, not the ground). Wipes and hand sanitizer are getting much easier to find as of late.

This might just push me to buy a personal scoot off of Amazon. Quick trips to the grocery store without having to use transit.

I've considered it. Someplaces downtown parking is 300-400 a month. A Segway ES2 is 750 at costco. Pretty quick payback even if you can only use it a couple months of the year. Though I'm not sure how you'd safely chain it up / protect it from theft if say you take it to stephen ave after work for a pint.

Went to Canadian tire today in Marlborough and it was pretty decent experience. 80+% of people were wearing masks which was good to see. I never noticed any wearing their masks down lower with their noses exposed which is better than most of my grocery trips. Though people were a bit impatient getting inside the store (mostly guessing because of the rain), would've been nice to see more of a distanced single file but everyone still reasonably kept some space. I just waited to the side and then went in when it was no one else going through. Security guy at the front door had a spray bottle with sanitizer in it and was spraying everyones hands. Kind of nice to see so that people don't skip that and/or not every person is touching the same sanitizer bottle like most stores. Inside was pretty calm, most people gave space and theres enough side isles I had no issues avoiding people all together with a few moments of waiting to let someone pass by.

I grabbed a Segway (ninebot s) earlier this year - it kicks ass for getting around my little part of the world. Kick scooter would be more of a headache for hauling a couple bags of groceries.

As for locking, most users buy/build a custom lock cable.

Would love to see a CT try that in Mackenzie Town and see what kind of "don't tread on me" incident ensues.

Just raise the prices. No one likes to see that extra line.

Imagine if airlines did that lol +$299 for covid. Just add it to the price and call it a day. Idk.

I mean if you are struggling, you qualify for wage subsidies... if you still need to charge a surcharge after only paying your staff 25% of wages... you suck at business

I have noticed some low key price gauging at Wendy’s though... value meal items are unavailable and a baconator is now over $9??? For just the sandwich?? Wtf

Um thats exactly what they have done in the past. Its suitcases now, but they also had extra fuel surcharges tacked on top back in the day when they fucked up their predictions on contract fuel pricing.

    Come to the dark side:

The sheeple that believe that this was created by China are obviously wrong by my estimation: If China had created this, the epicenter, the first cases would have been NASA HQ. Logic dictating use as a weapon or some sort of dark intent, you don't drop the nuke on your own foot first. McCain did not drop napalm on Los Angeles, as another example.

F-35 although stealthy would not have the range ability to drop a canister of any size over Wuhan. However, a B2 would. Realistically, why else would you spend $50 billion for 21 B2 Bombers if you never use them - Or worse use them for dropping napalm which arguably has limited destructive power (average less than 1,000 very random casualties)?

But why even spend that type of money, just spend $300 and use exploding air jordans. Eye of Sauron looks toward the USA and their well known "bat centric" coronavirus research.

Can you give up on something you never started?
