Hehe. I should say, I read most of the conversation but not all of it. Let's just say I'm playing it safe in case I repeated something that's already been said lol.

Starting to see more impacts to younger people now. See Netherlands, Italy, Spain, France.

I heard they are considering closing their borders to the US to prevent it from getting there lol. Imagine that.
They should build a wall. And then voila, Mexico paid for it. This is all a conspiracy by Trump. Illuminati confirmed.

Yeah they are, but realistically the only difference we do here is put it behind closed doors and then wrap it in plastic wrap. Somethings gotta be chopped up somewhere along the line to get your meat.
Which is a pretty god damned major difference that prevents the spread of a mass amount of bacteria.

Thank Christ. SOB's closed casinos in Ontario and really pooched me while I'm stuck here on days off. Was hoping Alberta could skate by and I wouldn't lose too many other playing days there.

    Casinos are a provincial responsibility.

You could say the same with organic farming. Which is better there?

In the long run, using things like anti-bacterial soaps, anti-biotics and sheltering humans from exposure might not be the best answer either. Great for the generations that have and do it, but not so great for future generations as their bodies get accustomed to not having to fight "actual germs".

How long would a sheltered European live outside four temperature controlled, germ controlled walls a century ago? How about now? Improve the human condition to fight germs, don't remove the germs. I agree with either stance, but many do not see the idea that you actually want the germs.

As with "contagion" the assumption that this came from poor meat preparation is possible,Spoiler:
but I do also believe like they do - that this virus was originally engineered in a lab.

In the USA if you give people access to abundant and nutritious food, you would think it would improve life standards - and it does - to a point. After which people just get obese and then their lifespans start to shorten significantly. The problem is that the next generation gets obese much sooner, and doesn't even make it to age 35. Exact same thing with moon landing, you set up future generations for failure. Building nuclear power plants, that if all the old teachers die of Corona, none of the next generation will know how to safely operate and maintain a nuclear power plant. Setting up the future generation for catastrophic failure, C'est la vie.

I'm wondering if all this reduced global activity is going to give a measurable effect to Global Warming. I wonder if we will all get a worldwide month or two off going forward?

As for this, I am pretty prepared, need to refill my scripts today and the only thing I never found was N95 masks. I should have trusted my gut back then.

    https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/heal...019-vs-the-flu

At this time, what we know is: it for sure has higher risk (in this case, death) to the geriatric population and people with multiple co-morbidity. But, there are no reported deaths of children ages 0-9 years old (so far). Teens, adults <60 also appear to recover well.
If this virus doesn't convince people to live healthier lifestyles - exercise, eat well and don’t smoke, then nothing will. This won’t be the last disease coming out of that parasite country China, this is only the start, there will always be some different strain of influenza. Best thing you can do, besides hoard tp apparently, is take care of yourself first and foremost, it could be the difference between being sick at home or visiting the hospital.

The internet was fine for me on the weekend. Which just goes to show that limit caps are stupid, considering how many people stayed in on weather and fear of virus.

USA should sell the aliens to a Chinese Zoo. Gotta pay back the Trillions they borrowed for Billion gallon gas trip that Buzz took somehow. Greta would be proud.

Get your Mexican avocados, it might be crazy difficult to get one when the US closes its borders and sets up armed snipers at the wall.
