I figure once there’s an effective antiviral treatment restrictions will start getting lifted.
Interesting. How does this differ from a vaccine? Is this the treat with AIDS drugs thing??
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

Makes sense since we're one of the entry ports for international flights to and from Canada. We're way busier than Edmonton.
Alberta sure, but I said Canada

I would expect Toronto would the hot spot although I can’t find numbers for cases per city

The problem with weed is that it causes sporadic coughing for me. Which isn't going to make me particularily popular in the 'hood.

Dayum, If they do close the border (which was completely logical would happen for some reason or another) there are only two major prediction left that has yet come to pass - Buzz admitting he orbited the moon, and the killer quake that will end California.

YYC is bigger internationally than YEG. Most flights would get rerouted to land in YYC, clear customs, then people could take a separate flight to YEG I'd imagine.

They should have banned non-essential travel from US since Monday's announcement.

How can any passenger air travel be "essential" anyway?

Vaccine = you cant catch it anymore

Anti-viral meds = You are no longer contagious with it and/or it might reduce the effects of it

If we can get to the point where people show symptoms, go to a test, 6 hours later have results and take a med that makes them no long contagious 24 hours later then life can probably go back to normal. Right now even if we catch everyone its a lot of isolating people. Like if you come in contact with someone you have no idea if you caught it or not so everyone needs to isolate.

Feels like Calgary will be the epicentre of Canada if rates continue to grow like they are

Indigo announced it is now closing at end of day today
BC has twice as many cases as we do with half as many tests. The reason our number is high is we are testing more per capita than anywhere else in north america.
