Everyone just stay home unless absolutely necessary to go grab food, gas, see doctor, prescription etc.

If you have any masks, eyewear (glasses, sunglasses, safety glasses, etc.), gloves, use it.

Spray mists of hydrogen peroxide or 70%+ alcohol on yourself going back home or wipe down with disinfectant wipes.

    Wash hands, wash faces.

Just my personal suggestions to help slow the spread down for our medical workers and others.

Don’t worry about what others think or do, it starts with yourself and do what you can to protect everyone.

I’m shocked at how many are still taking this lightly especially in North America. Look at Italy and Europe where people just don’t take it serious. It’s going to happen here. All the Asian countries Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore etc. Infection rates are low because they are extra cautious and careful.

Many European countries 50% of intensive care patients are under 60 years old. So it’s just not elderly that’s more severe, however most deaths are over 60.

Take care people and be extra safe and cautious when going out. Slowing down the spread starts with yourself.

Backup Dr Deebot reports 31 new cases. Based on the website, testing was also down by about 2/3.

Also assume you and everyone else is already infected with COVID-19. It can only spread this fast because many infected are asymptomatic.

As I said many times before for Italy/Europe, it is so heavily based on culture.

I am not surprised at North America currently on how many are not listening. A lot are, a lot aren't. That's the culture here.

I am surprised Alberta isn't fining the shit out of everyone who isn't abiding yet we have police services still spending time catching speeders.

Agreed. Hopefully this will change that traditional culture mindset for everyone like SARS did to Hong Kong.

I hope they upgrade Dr Hindshaw's battery pack so that she does not have to take an entire weekend off to recharge next time.

Edit: They are not going to be updating tomorrow. I guess the deputy did not pass the audition.

Haha if you dont think social distancing is going to make any effect here you are delusional.
Thats not at all what I am saying.

Im saying the fear-based narrative, over 13 deaths in a 7 week period in Canada, has worked wonders to shut down our entire way of life.

Travelers and the vulnerable should have been isolated.

Yup we sure did. If any boomers don't have any kids, and have nothing else to do - I will take any donations on my scientific push to prove doughnut earth.

Oh okay, so what we should be doing is wait for more deaths and wait for way more community spread before we decide to practice social distancing, wfh and limiting social gatherings. Got it.

    Love WFH

Think the lack of ability to aimlessly socialize around the office, take 30 smoke breaks and have a “check in/checkout” mentality that’s comes with having to commute somewhere will be a wash to any WFH slacking... plus WAY less stupid as meetings that could have just been a quick email update
    Unless you have kids.

I was in a meeting with our CEO on Friday and had to pause as one kid tried to run over the other in their power wheels haha.

Thats exactly the point, we dont do this for any other similar illnesses in Canada - even though they cause 1,000x more deaths.

We dont put most of the country out of work and threaten our entire way of life.

Maybe we should go back to living in fucking tents and teepees here?

Isolate the sick, isolate travelers, isolate the vulnerable, mass government education about hand washing and wear masks if you need to be around sick or vulnerable.

Our response of hoarding TPs, hand sanitizer and shutting down our way of life - shows how stupid the masses (and the governments) still are.

Ever wonder why you have a different opinion than most of the leaders and prominent experts of the world?

Since you're the expert, can you tell me what other similar illnesses you're referring to?

It's funny and sad at the same time that there's articles that literally explain why what we're doing matters in a grade 1 level format with animations and charts, but we still have people like this.
