Seems that someone is getting in on the idea of a Nickel foam heater that acts as an effective air purifier by simply roasting it at 200 degrees Celsius.
Not that its anything new, every toaster has a Nichrome wire inside which will kill everything long before it gets red hot. The actual better metal to use would be Platinum (catalytic converters for cars) because of its ability to not catalyze into a toxic gas. The best metal to use would be Ruthenium, as its literally rips carbon bonds apart better than any other, even carbon dual bonds if hot enough.
Natural gas heaters never have direct contact with circulating air, so they can never kill any viruses directly. Yet another reason to go electric (Nickel foam, UV sterilized air)
Very useful type of air purifier in Canada, because we always need waste heat. Side note: Air purifiers finally starting to see an upsurge in pricing. Very surprising it took this long.

That's the problem. Given election coming in 3 months and there are other parties doesn't want bad number to be published for state to be shut down again. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Even at 9%, Florida's numbers are still almost 9x of AB's.
Not sketchy at all............. someone get Trump his sharpie!
Coronavirus hospital data will now be sent to Trump administration instead of CDCPick your bias news source yourself:Washington (CNN)Hospital data on coronavirus patients will now be rerouted to the Trump administration instead of first being sent to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Health and Human Services confirmed to CNN on Tuesday.
The move could make data less transparent to the public at a time when the administration is downplaying the spread of the pandemic, and threatens to undermine public confidence that medical data is being presented free of political interference.
Michael Caputo, the assistant secretary for public affairs at the department, confirmed the change first reported by The New York Times earlier in the day, saying in a statement that the "new faster and complete data system is what our nation needs to defeat the coronavirus and the CDC, an operating division of HHS, will certainly participate in this streamlined all-of-government response. They will simply no longer control it."
"The CDC's old hospital data gathering operation once worked well monitoring hospital information across the country, but it's an inadequate system today," Caputo said in the statement.

He was also literally the first person to wear a mask. Best mask wearer he's seen in a long, long time.
His predictable senile behavior is funny but also disturbing considering he's head of a superpower country.

Yes the Republicans have a vested interest to try and make things appear better. But on the other side, the one that seems to be winning, you have democrats making major push to make things look a lot worse. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Florida has 5 times the population of Alberta just to put things in perspective. And once you consider all the things I mention below from recent news, it doesn't appear that Florida is some kind statistical shit show of covid cases.
Can you blame them? One example of what I posted above, is the massive manipulation of statistics going on by these health agencies. It's no wonder the white house wants to assess the information directly. Obviously it opens a potential for conflict of interest, but I'm not sure what else they're supposed to do at this point? You've got health agencies inflating their covid positive tests by 1000%, they're reporting positive results for people that didn't even get tested, they're using metrics to count a positive covid case without ever doing any due diligence to confirm if there is covid present or not, and they're rolling in antibody tests as positive cases even though someone can test positive for antibodies because they had a cold 3 years ago. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. How or why? They're doing it the same way as everywhere else, just in bigger numbers. The why is anyones best guess. But Florida is a known swing/battleground state with a republican governor currently. That one state has played a big role in determining a president in the past. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Those are just fake numbers that mass media and the CDC are putting out. Trump will let everyone know the real numbers soon. They'll be the best official numbers. Better than China's.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Number one in the world.
Yes we could talk about deaths instead now. The question is whether the death statistic is correct. As it's been reported the death rates seem over inflated as well, the question is whether they are equally inflated in Canada, and still therefore comparable. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. If we just assumed the numbers are accurate, then you'd have to look at a number of factors to compare Alberta to Florida(which I'm not even sure the purpose for). Would have to compare poverty levels, access to health care, average age of populations, obesity rates, etc.
There is some interesting graphs in this link. Florida actually has the 2nd highest total deaths(all deaths of any kind) of any state. Actually makes sense they would have a higher than normal covid death rate as well. But overall the deaths involving covid are shrinking as a percentage of total deaths.
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/index.htm
I think Florida would be a bad comparison for AB. Florida is pretty much a huge retirement location for many 65+ people in North America, right up there with Arizona. With seniors being the most susceptible to the virus, it would stand to reason that their death rate would be higher. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
