Is stampede even viable without pushing capacity to the limit?

Confirmed that last night. Did a fake assessment, full slots open throughout the day today. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
So we don’t know if it’s schools, patios, or vaccines. Although the rate that it’s dropping at doesn’t match our previous restrictions at all, but more mimics the drop we’ve seen in other countries from mass vaccination efforts.

Im fine with that tbh. The spacing gives time for any rise in cases to show which hopefully it won't. Giving people social gatherings on step 1 will be a good step towards relieving the pandemic fatigue. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Edit: Were at 65% of the 40+ crowd. So should hit the first target end of May give or take.

We know you get a response roughly proportional to the degree of the lockdown. We also know the degree of case reductions is proportional to the vaccine rate.
I guess what we don't know is if shutdowns and vaccines are additive or multiplicative.
What I do know is that we are not going to see a smooth reduction in cases, deaths and illness, we are going to see a crash.
What's the percentage decrease with restrictions [insert timeline after it happened] vs. restrictions + vaccines [insert timeline after it happened]? Maybe go off of that benchmark? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Well, you and I might go off of that, but I dont think our gov't policy is going to.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
They have always waited to observe outcomes before changing policy. This is a real weakness in a situation involving exponential growth.

People on social media are giving it to the authorities for allowing Stampede to go on.
I admit, the optics look brutal right now. But a lot can happen in two months.
Can.
Can we just ship all these people (back) to the Maritimes and then everyone can be happy? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
