Just throwing this out there, if you intend to travel to the US you should 100% put effort into getting a PCR test if you get sick. People with a positive PCR test in the past 6 months don't have to get a covid test on the way down or the way back when visiting the US. Dumb rules but worth considering if you are sick.

Wife is sick last few days. Body aches, then stuffed up, some lack of taste and now all snotty. Negative at home test the other day. Not going to bother getting a real test.

I feel fine so far. Going into the office still because that is 'critical to the productivity of the company'. Gonna be a super spreader event any day now.

Well, given tests are irreverent with Omi (antigen kits they handed out is almost useless in detecting Omi and PCR testing capacity at max), I would say we have already done the super spreader events last 2 weeks. Just ride this out for the next 2 and this wave will be over.

But looks like Omi is removing Delta off the board, so that's nice.

We are keeping our daughter home from preschool this week. So far, haven't caught covid in our house (that we know of), and even though her school hasn't had a single case of covid, we're thinking right after christmas with Omi working it's way around is a much higher likelihood of her bringing it home from school. Who knows if that's true or not, all I can say is I dislike keeping her home and still paying for the classes.
