My wife’s work just confirmed a positive Covid case, my wife worked closely with that person due to the work relationship, everyone is quite concerned and we really have no idea what the next steps are
You have a 99.9% chance of being just fine.

I would legitimately wonder what is so important for your co-workers to purposely fly over to China for that... Is this forum that important? Are they that important? lol.

Or do they have yellow fever?

And if you are unlucky enough to be that one 0.01%, you have a 4.7% chance of dying. Not accounting for risk factors of course.

Haven't really been following China but I'm assuming its a combo of them forcefully locking people in their homes for a couple months +, and also just plain 'ol protecting the vulnerable that has allowed them to do this. Part 1 would never fly here...because "ma rights and ma freedoms!"

Reducing the caseload puts a lot of health care professions out of work. Health care workers are one of the greatest drivers of the economy. You don't want the economy to fail, do you?
They've got side gigs getting views off their dancing tik-tok vids, I think they'll be just fine until the next wave.

I don't know how some people live being so weak. Being at the pinnacle of physical fitness just brings up your own well being. Knowing you can break your opponent is a great self-esteem booster.

What does physical fitness have to do with being able to "break an opponent"?
Lots of really unhealthy people who could destroy what society deems as "fit", and lots of people with special skills who can outmaneuver gym rats who just work on physique.

I enjoy being jacked. But sometimes I would love to just be able to put on socks without losing my breath.

It's all optics anyway, dedicated gym rats do it for the look. In the end muscles don't stop bullets, maybe we can fire squad covid?

Fascinating, they don't have a mask bylaw, correct?

You would think that even with or without it, then it would still be higher.
