Didn't the family refuse to get off the plane, that's why police were called?

Putting buster’s outdoor theory to test. They should be able to figure out the cohorts, close contacts to determine if it’s in our out of school transmission. Unless the kids lie haha.

It’s been a whole week and we already have 35 schools and an outbreak. Unsure if Kenney would allow it to be all locked down again though

To be fair, most of the cases are brought into the school from then outside. Only reason they’re caught is because of stricter testing at schools.

The outbreak will be interesting if they can determine if there’s transmission at the school, that’s what we need to be worried about.

I would bet the health authorities were fully expecting and modeled something like what we are seeing.

They have. Buried in all the kids are going to die rhetoric online, Hinshaw has already said there will be spread at schools, and it’s a risk that will be there unless we don’t open schools at all.

Anyone doing HUB can comment on how it’s going? I heard today about an Edmonton school being completely lost and the program being as bad as it was in the summer. Day 3 tho, still time to improve.

It's all self directed right now, teachers don't start teaching until next week, feels no different than March - June

We need a model for every possible scenario, because the unknown is scary.

Seriously glad I don't have a young kid in school during these times. I feel for all you parents that are relying on people who can't get their shit together. After being involved with coaching over the past years and interacting closely with schools, I didn't realize how many incompetent people there are on so many levels in the school system within our province.

Guess it's no different than any industry. Lots of people who are shitty at their jobs.

They’re only catching the ones with symptoms. It’s the others we really have to worry about. In all honesty if I was still in high school, my thinking would be DGAF. Doesn’t affect me and if a bunch of us get it, schools out. Win.

Yup. Put a signed paper in and people all of a sudden realize there is legal liability and become more accountable.

Still like I said, this is 100% certain how this will play out, even by simply tracking replies in this thread. Because it only takes 1 who doesn't believe the guidelines or don't act on them.

As a bonus to the oak trim in the Model Y, the S/X purifies the neighborhood. Saving the world - one corner moulding at a time.
