My wife advertised a job. She put in the Ad that you must write a small paragraph on why you'd be a good fit for the job. Out of 500 or so resumes, 10 people actually read it and wrote the paragraph.

This is a fantastic idea.
Great way to cut down initial applicants very quickly.
