Default Looking to replace old "nice" jacket...

I'm looking for a nice winter wool jacket to replace my old one that I dont like anymore that I've had for about 10 years.

I want a decently fitted probably pea coat-esque without breaking the bank. So, where do I look?

It's worth a look at the Bay. There's lots of nicer places, but if they have what you want, price should be okay.

I learned about this amazon place today. Had to Google it myself to make sure people weren't pulling my leg. Too bad it is only available in the US.

That's how I buy my condoms. Preferably not previously tried on.

If you saw how much you saved through Amazon Warehouse Deals, you might not mind so much!

@03ozwhip , have a look at Zara. They've had some nice pea coats there from time to time.

I'm picky as fuck. Found a really nice Michael Kors jacket today for a really good price, but when I buttoned it up, it looked funny.

Next time I'm in tbe mall, I'll check Zara.

Everyone here knows you have no use for them on a regular basis, Fogel.

I searched a lot and ended up at Banana Republic for mine.

From The Bay, Brook Brothers, Harry Rosen, Nordstrom, Crown Surplus, I'm sure more I'm forgetting....honestly for a wool pea coat, it was changes in style that were the big differences because I didn't really notice a difference in quality.

There was a beautiful cognac coloured pea coat from Holt Renfrew that showed up on my FB feed ads the other day. If I only I had $1,000 to burn

Tommy Hilfiger is another option, I picked up a navy wool duffel coat from them a couple years ago and it has been rock-solid.

There are tons of peacoat options out there so best of luck; you'll find the right one! All recommendations are valid; you can also check out Polo Ralph Lauren at The Bay.

The ones from Mark's aren't peacoats. Peacoats have to be double-breasted, but those single-breasted jackets are great for a slimmer profile.

So long as the length is at thigh level; otherwise, it'll look too big on you. If it's at the hips, it's way too short and not a true peacoat.

The more wool composition it has, the warmer it'll be; at least 80% wool.

I ain't worried 'bout it right now..
