Default Weird random packages we didnít order showing up. Beyond CSI?

Weíve been out of town for the last week, checked the mail when I got home and my girlfriend had a few parcels addressed to her in the mailbox. Got them home, and thereís some super weird stuff inside.

One is a ďwelcome kitĒ from Huggies, containing a sample pack of diapers, baby wipes, and a bunch of coupons for their products. We are NOT expecting! The other is a sample box of TENA maxi pads (she doesnít even wear pads) which also includes some samples and discount coupons, etc.

Both packages are addressed to her, but the maxi pads also had MY phone number beside the address. Does canada post keep my number on file at the address? Or would the shipper have to provide it? Very strange that my phone number shows up by her name.

Trying to narrow down where these came from. The Huggies website has this promotion where you can gift one of these boxes to someone so I intend to phone tomorrow and see who sent it, but neither of us shop online much, and we donít have any strange amazon orders or charges on our cards, etc. Very puzzling. Is it possible our address was stolen or sold by a third party and thatís why weíre getting these samples? Weíve contacted all family and nobody sent us anything. Cruel prank by a jilted ex lover perhaps? We havenít signed up for anything recently either.

Attached is a pic of the Huggies box and the TENA sample pads. Banana is for scale. Anybody else experienced anything like this?

Someone is either hinting or teasing. This is no accident.
We must seek to understand each other, and even when we cannot, remain kind.

Yeah man... Someone has signed you up for these as either a joke or a hint! Lol! Usually if it is a buddy it will be porn or Jahova’s stuff so my bet it is one of you girls friends or family. (Hint, maxi pads are for the weeks AFTER baby is born!)

I've had a bag of dicks filled with gummy dicks and a glitter dick bomb sent to me by friends. Your friends seem nicer than mine.

    I don't think they're Amazon samples.

A recent trend among unscrupulous Amazon sellers is "brushing", where they complete transactions and have items shipped to users who didn't order them. Then they can leave a "verified review".

OP should check their CC just in case.

I think the only CSI work you need to do is to check your friend circle and see who's messing with you. Are you sure you are not expecting?

Maybe I'm not crazy after all cause I think this happened to me on some items I thought that I didn't go through with the purchase.

That’s the thing, she hasn’t. Even if she did, how would they know our address?

My only guess is your GF is signed up to a free sample website, where they just auto ship whenever certain samples match her profile or to everyone signed up in general. Cause theres always coupons in those samples for people who want to buy after. So its just a free sample promotion #caseclosed

Yea, this is my thinking as well. These free sample sites sell/give your details away.

I use a catch-all whenever signing up so I can see where it came from.
