Had a nice long talk with a co-worker from Wyoming, probably the most redneck conservative state there is, and he's of the opinion that "the entire US oilpatch" will vote democratic no matter who the candidate is. He claims the dems are better for oil and gas, but I didn't understand his reasoning. He says if it's Biden, that the dems will get 2:1 popular vote over Trump nationally. That seems crazy to me. I don't think the oilpatch is a large enough voting block to make a big difference to the outcome.

I got some nice bets against trump with decent odds.
I had a huge trump supporter take my $50 vs his $250 that he wins like 8 months ago.
I got my mom to bet my $500 vs her $1,000 that he wins on her birthday... (Before trump fell in the polls cause of Biden)
I have a bet from before biden ran for 14 or 15:1 that he wins as well...
I got a nice sweat now.
I really do think he wont be re-elected.
The Bottom Line
Presidents that serve during times of turmoil, especially when it comes to a domestic recession or difficult economic environment, usually have a difficult time winning re-election. At other times, the presidents above were simply unable to make their marks on history and capture enough popularity to win a second term in office.

Trump was about 5-10% to win like 3 months prior to the election, getting 8:1 was pretty standard at the time.
