Kamala's got a bit too much baggage for my liking, but i guess you really can't be squeaky clean having a long career like that. At least she's competent, and her perceived "toughness" might actually help pull in more independents/centrists. The far left is probably not too happy but you just can't please everybody.
Will Pence even debate Harris without his wife present?
I was really hoping Biden would do a "The Bachelor" type one-hour show to pick his running mate. It would appeal to his competitors demographic.
Lol, they aren’t even trying to hide it any more:

You know they are nervous when they have to stoop so low to prop up an independent to try and siphon votes away from your opponent.
Literally nothing is beneath them, as they have shown almost every day since Nov 2016 haha. The whole dynamic has changed and the threshold for impeachment/removal has increased to a level where future presidents now know they can almost do whatever they want without consequence. I think, more than ever, they are worried about Democrats gaining power and putting in policies that increase election security and help more people to get to the polls (I.e. election day national holiday). If something like that happens, they probably won't see another Republican president for a very long time and I think the thought of that is scaring the crap out of the GOP. Should be a wildly entertaining few months, I'll have my popcorn out. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Kamala's speaking now. She's doing fantastic.

Kampala is an.....interesting choice, her performance in the primaries was godawful my any metric, and America’s current zeitgeist won’t look fondly on her history in California. Shame Tulsi isn’t involved in some capacity any more, maybe unity 2020.

Lots of question marks, that Tulsi.

Well Trump came out and said the quiet part out loud again this morning. Claiming that USPS can't handle mail-in voting unless it receives additional funding then in the same interview admits he's blocking funding for USPS
"They want $25 billion — billion — for the post office. Now they need that money in order to have the post office work so it can take all of these millions and millions of ballots," Trump said. "Now, in the meantime, they aren't getting there. By the way, those are just two items. But if they don't get those two items, that means you can't have universal mail-in voting ... because they're not equipped.""We told them very clearly that the president was not going to sign the bill if [money for the Postal Service] was in it," an administration official told The Post. "I don't know if we used the v-bomb, but the president was not going to sign it, and we told them that."
you don't fund the USPS just so that you can do mail in voting.
There's been many different bills passed to help the USPS and guess what? They all just sit in the Senate and never get voted on. Removing the 70 year funding for pensions restrictions, additional funding, a bailout, a grant just for boosting mail for the election, etc. All of them could be options but instead they are all blocked by the administration. It doesn't matter what you want to call it, they're trying to sabotage the USPS intentionally. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Making them arms of the voting system is one of the dumbest ideas progressives have come up with (and there are lots of options there on THAT list).
It isn't making them an arm of the voting system. It's temporary funding for them to catch up on the backlog of mail that covid caused, so that mail in votes will actually get counted before time is up.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
National mail services should die, not be bolstered no matter what the reason.

It's not even backlog because of covid though, they were doing fine (in terms of keeping up with mail) until June 15th when the new head took over. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I don't care if binky the clown was installed as the head of the USPS.
If your anti-voter-suppression dreams are reliant on the USPS or CP, then your plan is bad.
