Man, that Phil guy has lot of aptly named song titles.

As much as I dislike the man , he would t have stood around d for this long with respect to Canada's rail blockade mess. Mr. Beardie manchild could learn a thing or two.
I tried to fix it with the edit thing, and it shows the new title in the edit box, but then when I hit submit - bupkisThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Pretty interesting last few days. I totally thought Biden was pretty much out after the first 3 state primaries... crazy how much momentum he picked up after winning south carolina. VERY surprised Warren didn't drop out and support Sanders this past weekend because now all of her delegates she earned today are wasted instead of most likely going to Bernie. maybe deep down inside she prefers Joe over Bernie?
either way i'm thinking ultimately Biden wins the nomination it whether that is a full majority of delegates or through the contested convention process. hopefully a majority because if Sanders has more delegates yet loses a contested convention, his supporters may be pissed enough to either not vote or vote Trump.
That'll be fun to watch Trump absolutely demolish Biden in any debate. Not with any actual facts or truths, but he'll just talk over him the entire time.
Battle of the senile 2020!

Do people think Biden is more likely to beat Trump then a Sanders? I disagree. I think that will hand Trump a very strong victory.

I think both are weak opposition. Bernie is wayyy too socialist for the majority of Americans. This will be a cakewalk for Trump. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I wish we could see both outcomes. I think Bernie would get closer to victory than Biden.

Definitely. Biden will fail for the same reasons Hillary did. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
He's too uninspiring for young and coloured voters so the Democrats will have another low turnout. He may get a few black votes just because of his connection to Obama but otherwise I see a Biden win as a Democrat loss.
Is there anywhere easy to check delegate counts and polling without reading some partisan hack news article?
Like a 338Canada equivalent for the US Primaries?
I’m interested in where the numbers are settling and projecting. Way less interested in what people think about them haha

So many people triggered because Biden did well yesterday. Sanders supporters are the biggest snowflakes, so much salt. They really want that student loan debt wiped out.

To be fair, the DNC seemingly encouraged Buttigieg and Klobuchar to drop-out and endorse Biden while encouraging Warren to stay in the race and take progressive votes from Sanders...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
They're up to the same bullshit that made them lose in 2016.
Source? Any reason the dnc leadership didn’t ask Bloomberg to exit and further consolidate moderate support? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Well Bloomberg just dropped out and endorsed Biden. I wonder if he is going to spend his money with Biden or wait until the general election to burn it. $60B net worth and 78 years old, I could easily see him spending a few billion either way
I don't think he cares if the Dems win. He just wanted to be Prez. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I can't figure out what his goal was. Lots of rumours that he was trying to peel away voters from Bernie, but I have no idea what Bernie supporters were going to support a billionaire. If he was making a serious run at the presidency, he should've done a lot more preparation as he looked pretty ridiculous. Maybe no one around him has the guts to tell him he's terrible? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If nothing else I think it helps dispel the idea that all you need is money and fame. For as much as I dislike the things Trump does, I can see the charm that he has for people that agree with his plans. If you read his speeches it comes off as literal gibberish, but when you listen to him you get the idea somehow. When Bloomberg talks you can tell he's full of shit
Bernies billionaire tax would cost Bloomberg something like 3 billion (I think?) so even if Bloomberg lit the 600 million on fire that he wasted on this campaign but it means Biden wins over Bernie then Bloomberg wins in the end. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
People need to remember he used to be a republican. He doesn't give a shit about being a democrat or helping people, he just didn't want Bernie to win and cost him a lot of money.
All that money spent on ads drives up the price of ads which hurts Bernie's smaller campaign funds more so than the super PACs that have huge war chests.
