I think he is saying that he hasn’t had “only” PLPD since he was a teen.
    Hence my old comment.

Btw, my work truck doesn't have collision on it - not worth it as it's an older vehicle and quite easy to replace. It starts regardless of the weather, gets me from point A to B and already has a great work truck patina - so much so that I believe it's patina affords me extra room on the street and in parking lots because people can sense my Suburban is not pretentious in the least bit. Door dings, pffft, bring them on.

So which of these insurances cover death and dismemberment resulting from sick ebrake turns?

They said good driving. There's shitloads of eyewitnesses since it happened at lunchtime on 17ave on a gorgeous day
You're very lucky you got the cops you got. I'm surprised tbh they didn't give you a lot of shit over your little "move" there, what with pedestrians in the xwalk in the upcoming intersection. I can just hear another pair of officers now - " Yes, you missed them about 15 feet or so, but had there been a puddle in your path instead of the other side of the corner, or if that stolen truck driver decided to push you out of his way, you could have easily lost traction in the first case and slid a lot further to your front and right, or been shoved in the second, putting your right into those 2 people in the intersection." Here, have a nice dangerous driving charge to go along with the cost of fixing your Subeedo.

Well, one is a search for a stolen car.... the other is running a car in the wrong side of the street and did a J turn, with a lot of pedestrians in the block.

Worse than aspen area? Lol, as if.
Don't know Aspen stats but 45 pedestrians hit in 16 years before 2014.

The crackheads around Chumir made 4th way worse the last few years.

If any intersection need a scramble, it's here.

    This ain't no claw hunt.

One could say that you forced him into going down the wrong way on a busy narrow street.

One could say he could have stopped instead of fleeing the scene in a stolen truck. In fact thats what all the witnesses and officers said.

It’s also your fault he’s addicted to crack and stole that truck.

Lol sentry. Believing that this is still a car forum. This is where dorky dads collect to discuss diapers and light switches. This ain't no hmt.

As for what you can do. Basically you're fucked unless buddy cares about having a public judgement levied against him. Even if you win in court, he doesn't have to pay you.

Looks like your best course of action is hoping insurance doesn't take the car from from you, fix it, then put up a GoFundMe, that these people still wouldn't donate to despite the content you've made here.

You can get free(ish) legal advise through the u of c legal dept. They may suggest an angle that we don't know about.

Shit, sorry to hear about this buddy. Fucking wankers who drive like shit are bad enough but now you got crackhead thieves on top of an already bad day.

It was either shrug your shoulders and sit like a numpty or basically go on a GTA car chase to stop the scum yourself. There's no winning option here today.

3rd loser is gonna be the owner of the black Acura who comes out and find his car smashed.

OP is going to be SOL. Once the other vehicle is confirmed as stolen the insurance that was on that car no longer applies. With no collision coverage on OP's vehicle there's no policy anywhere that will pay. He's on his own for this one unfortunately.

All our faults, really. Thankfully, we have a Prime Minister that's put this on the front burner and is apologizing on a permanent loop for everyone's injustice. Ever.
It should be magically fixed within... Well, certainly not until after the earth is scorched by climate change, but at least he's trying!

I voted you beyonder of the year - one of the few guys who puts up bad ass vehicle related content. I'd happily throw $50 at a gofundme to help you get this back up and running.

Love the ballsy move of passion - honestly tho ill advised, since someone hitting you once and bouncing is probably gonna be OK with hitting you twice and bouncing.

Love the J-turn, seriously epic. Damage doesn't look too bad though. hopefully just a fender and headlight housing and maybe buff out the bumper?

I just watched the video - you scared the piss out of the crackheads as they probably thought you were an undercover member with moves like that.

I can neither confirm nor deny that I'm the poster that is employed in the insanely exciting and rewarding industry that is insurance.
