Yes, no way they would allow the electrical meter to be in the house. Since it is in the addition portion, it appears it's going to be quite simple to move it as they left an area of the sub-floor open, which they can just patch up once it has been moved.

We didn't even realize that it was there, as it was under neath another layer of flooring. This was after we had the asbestos abatement company come through and take everything out.
Hah, our Enmax meter is inside our house in an addition from the early 80's.

Rough - you think you're doing the right thing and getting all the asbestos out and then the previous owners screw you over like that!

Things are progressing....into the final stretch. Should be completed in the next few weeks.
Electrical meter has been moved, exterior coming along.

Final update before we move in!

Received notice we are going to be getting keys on Friday. So we will he taking the weekend to move in and are looking forward to unpacking and getting settled in.

I’ll have updated pictures once we get all our furniture in and it’s looking like a home!

I’ve been a nerd and uploaded some more YouTube videos to track the progress, including the pre finish.

Looks amazing! Are you sure that space is large enough for a Sub-Zero?

Actually, you are right, that's a better idea. I'll do one before we start moving items into the house to get the raw difference between before and after.

We opted for a counter-depth Kitchen-Aid fridge instead of going all out for the appliances.

    I made this https://poly.google.com/view/40ob2ZEgDMU

But there are softwares that can stitch it together to step through...

It’s been a crazy busy week so haven’t had a chance to take pictures and all that.

However, have a little comparison between before and after of in front.

We have some furniture in so I won’t be able to have completely unfurnished pictures done.

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.
