I think a 6 month gm “USA flip” lease is PERFECT for shak... we have a salesman on beyond that might be able to get a better trade in value for the Jeep, but even if not the savings on the new truck return vs what it will be without that cheap lease will make up the difference
Do these USA flip leases really / still exist?
I figured that would be an easily plugged loophole.

What if I said. I had the perfect scenario for you. If you’re interested. Send me a PM
sounds like you're going to get invited to a pyramid scheme.
Or I’m a ford employee and I’m trying to get out of my short term lease with a very small payment
I am actually in a pretty positive equity position with my Jeep - the only question is by how much. I am just not willing to throw it all away. It may be too hard to believe to most and I realize my car changing habits may suggest that I somehow take a bath every time I switch out, but it's not quite the case. Not that it hasn't ever happened but usually when I make a move it's not terrible. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
For example, if I go the route with my BC guy this time, I would be losing $1000 on the Jeep for however many months I've had it and driven it 14K km's. Of course that's not including the cost of extras I did to it but that's for fun and I may end up removing most of the big ones (tires/rims & expensive headlights) anyway.
I could sell the Jeep privately and not even take the $1K hit but I don't have the time to deal with Kijiji stuff which is why I don't mind negotiating hard with these dealers and getting what I want. Which is also why I am always willing to pass on certain options without too much of an issue if it doesn't make sense financially.

I am happy to chat further so feel free to give me a shout but as I mentioned, I'd have get rid of one to get into another one first so not sure how taking over someone else's deal would work. Happy to chat further though. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I would assume that beyond is a big enough community that someone could at least match the dealer offer to win-win for you, based on the fact that each of your threads spur some interest. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
But I've also barely had any bites on my previous shitboxes I've listed here and no Beyond sales.

Lowering trucks is the most ridiculous thing you could do to a vehicle. Don’t be one of those people.
Lowering trucks is more functional than lifting them. Fight me.

I personally like the look of both, that being said if I do ever get a truck, I think the chances of me lifting it are more than lowering it.
2019 Sierra Denali owner, love the truck. The 6.2 is amazing, this thing will get 11-12L/100Km highway pretty consistently. I had extensive seat time in a 2.7 turbo and came away fairly impressed, it had a lot more zip than I expected. Drove it from Charlotte NC to Virginia and back and it averaged 23 mpg. I'd still go with the 5.3/6.2, and if you get a 2020 make sure you get the 10 speed auto (I think the 8 speed is still standard). Can't go wrong with those combos. These are great trucks, and in my line of work I get to drive them all. Still prefer the GM's.

it is more functional by allowing you easier access to the bed for loading and unload your gear, but when you lower a heavy duty truck for instance, you will be compromising the payload and towing ability of that truck for sure. there will not be enough suspension travel in the front or rear to be able to handle the same weight as when you're stock height or higher. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. lifting a truck hinders loading and unloading of your stuff but as long as you do lift it correctly (proper driveshaft angles, proper rake, etc) your payload and towing capacity isn't affected nearly as much.

It depends how you lower it. I have a lowered 3/4 ton diesel and it has the same capacity, tows better, gets better mileage, etc. I would argue that lifting a truck is one of the dumbest things to do for those that plan on doing much towing. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. If I lower my truck, and wear black sunglasses, will everyone assume I'm a nice guy with a huge dick?
