Just to clarify, because based my PM's I was not clear. My main issue is NOT stucco.

resurfacing the little Juliet balcony outside my master bedroom. Currently done in brittle slate tile that has shattered and chipped. Don't care what surface it is, new tile, duradek or whatever.
Main problem is typing it into the synthetic stone exterior of my house. Will need to remove and replace the decorative synthetic stone. That part is 1) where the water will get in and 2) totally visible from the street, so it needs to be done right. This balcony forms the roof of the room below, so any leakage is going straight to the interior of my home.

No wonder you don't have the sex room down there.

Funny enough, the one thing my guy won't do is the stucco.

Nobody does small stucco jobs anymore. That's what I've found out with my extensive research.

Just found this out myself. The quotes I got to fix below were out there:

I fixed it myself, which probably doesn’t look as good as a pro, but it also didn’t cost an arm and a leg

Guy found that this had been leaking on the side that wasn't cracked. So good thing it got taken apart. Had to replace some of the framing, but it wasn't too bad, and didn't require tearing the front of the house off thankfully.

Should be all wrapped up this week, which will be nice.

One quote was $4-5000, the other was $5500-6000. I just think these guys are busy, plus out of town.
