Default Exterior contractor - small job

Anyone have someone they'd reccomend for a couple small exterior jobs? One is resurfacing the little Juliet balcony outside my master bedroom. Will need to remove and replace the decorative synthetic stone trim, and possibly also repair some adjacent stucco too. Needs to be legit contractor with insurance. No side-job guys.

Have other stucco work to do as well.

Ping! Anyone? My work is sloppy, so I'm concerned that if I do this myself, it will look shitty and not be weathertight.

And because there is work at a height, I'm serious that this needs to be a real contractor with insurance.

This feels like you aren't serious, so I'm hoping someone else will chime in either to confirm/deny this suggestion, or with a different one.

    Legacy Exteriors

Even with the bad review below, his response back was pretty good and legit....

Richard is a smooth salesman. We signed a full house cladding contract, which included our very high chimney which is all we really wanted done. This was written into our contract, with a cost. He never completed the chimney, returned this charge, and wanted us to rent a hoist/scaffolding to get the job done. Promised to get people to quote the job. We made contact with his recommendations and on 3 occasions, appointments were not kept and calls not returned. Still trying to decide if we will pursue legally. Really disappointed and tired of hearing excuses about the incompetence of others. Beware.

Sorry about the rough ride regarding your chimney cladding Dale. Also understand that I am at the mercy of my trades... So when my trades tell me, we cannot clad that chimney cap because its 45+ feet in the air and its unsafe to do so, there's nothing I can do about it... I DID refund your money for the chimney cap. I DID offer to have the thing sanded down completely, primed, and painted FOR FREE with one of my best painting crews. When the guys showed up to do the work for you, you denied them, saying its like throwing lipstick on a pig... I DID do an outstanding job cladding the windows on rest of your home, which is unworthy of a 2/10 score btw.... If you like, my offer to refinish your chimney cap via painting is still good. Understand that sanding that wood down, and refinishing it with a high quality oil based paint is still protecting it as well as beautifying it, if you had let us proceed with the work I scheduled for you, it would have come out looking brand new plus stayed looking that way for years to come...

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Bumping this thread for someone who is an exterior-focused contractor for what is turning into three or four small jobs around my place. Not just a "siding and paint" kind of place, which seems to be what I find when I do my google-fu.

Figured I'd throw a +1 up for Enrich and his crews, we had them redo the exterior of our stucco house and detached garage, had them do the doors and window trim as well as the cladding, fascia, and new eavestrough. Pretty sure there's an old thread somewhere with positive reviews from Beyonders

I'm going to guess legacy isn't going to get back to me of they haven't so far. Guess I could call then using the telephone number, but that's very 20th century.
    Any other suggestions?

Hey, one last shot at anyone who has someone they can reccomend. Would even take "side job" guys at this point because I have had no luck with the big shops.

    Did you eventually call Legacy?

On a side note, with all the hail work that's out there there most isn't much interest in small jobs and it's not just stuff like your job - I had a homeowner ask me yesterday about whether or not I could install window coverings as they said they couldn't find anyone to do it for them. I probably could but I'm busy enough as is in my current line of work, am now turning down private cabinet installation jobs directly from homeowners. It's odd, I see plenty of trades guys who are very busy but there's still plenty of O&G people who'd rather complain about little or no work but won't make a transition into something new - getting a bit dirty is apparently still a big deal.

You are not having any luck with the beyond service providers (see tint and ppf).
