Congrats on the new car. Is that hand for scale?
I realized I don't actually have another photo of the car, besides this one my girlfriend took when I picked it up. I had to cut myself out and that's all that's left.

No kidding. Though disappointed there wasn't a what should I buy thread leading up to the purchase.
Oh I learned my lesson last time with you guys! I thought about posting to ask but it would have been incredibly embarrassing to ask about a Porsche and then not buy it. The funniest part was someone mentioned me in another thread about asking for car advice the day before I picked it up. I thought that was pretty coincidental and considered mentioning it then.

    The question will be:

"Since I have a soft top, I can't mount those suction cup racks on my roof. Was thinking of mounting it on the passenger door instead and retrofitting it so the bike is upright. Anyone see a problem with this?"

3 pages of comments about how it is a bad idea and Mar still goes ahead and does it. But then gets a ticket shortly after when he encounters a cop.

Edit: Mostly kidding of course, 10% serious.
I still have the bike rack on the old Hyundai! It's actually great when going downtown, I park far away and ride 5 minutes to my destination. I'm too cheap to pay for parking, need to pay for that 91 octane somehow.

Nice, best time of the year to buy a sports car.
Yes except I keep staring at it in the garage and can't drive it. I'm freezing my ass off parking on the street now because there's no more room in the garage.

The MB in the back shows a plate frame...

Did Mar buy through Calgary Auto Quest?
I sure did. Are they known here for something? I thought they were nice.

If I am not mistaken, they are definitely known here but not in a good way. In fact, there had been several threads of them scamming people after making sales and whatnot. Or am I thinking of some other dealership?

I think this dealer is good. Used them before. Not Gallery of Fine Cars or Threadz

Calgary Auto Quest and Calgary Auto Connection are the 2 that have good reputations as far as I've read on beyond.

Congrats on the car! I haven't bought from them, but I've looked at cars at Calgary Auto Quest and had good interactions both times.
