And? Firstly the actual incubation time is not 30 days... there is one report of someone showing symptoms 27 days later and a couple claiming 20+ days but those are rare reports and not the norm. There will always be weird outliers that could be caused by something else not being reported properly. For all they know they could've been infected a week or two after the original encounter. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Also statistically the odds of being near someone with the Virus is still basically zero unless there is a larger outbreak. Like, someone would have to be infected, and in the airport at a similar time, and in a similar area, and within a few feet of me, just to have a CHANCE at passing the infection. It's not magic, one person doesn't walk into a crowd and immediately everyone else is contagious. I'm flying direct from YYC to LAX ... it's not like I'm camping out in a airport for 12 hours and multiple layovers.
I never said I'm not concerned or paying attention to the problem, but right now there is still very little risk for US/Mexico travel unless things change. Just exercise proper hygiene etiquette, wash your hands frequently, don't touch commonly touched public surfaces, don't crowd next to people, etc.
If things change then yeah I'll adjust my plans but for the time being things are fine here.
