Is Alberta resentment still prevalent n in BC? Slashing tires and stuff?
been to BC couple of times this summer (Kelowna, Invermere, Vancouver and Vancouver Island), no issues whatsoever.
saw lots of AB plates as well.

if you drive a pickup truck and wear white sunglasses then you might be in trouble

White sunglasses work the same way as an interlock on a pickup, impossible to start unless you put them on, even at night time.

Just got this email today from WestJet, called and had mine processed.

Had my 24month credit reversed and given a full refund to my CC.

It sounds like most people just did a CC chargeback if they were still fighting with WestJet for their money back. That's what I did after they denied me a refund and it was totally painless.

They notified me, took an hour 37 minutes to have everything refunded back to CC.

    Super easy, no hassles.

Good that they are finally doing that. I fought with them for a while back in the Summer before just getting a chargeback which I should have probably just done in the first place.

Anyone going on a cruise? CDC is now allowing cruises in US waters.

Get on a ship with 4000 of your closest friends and hope that one of them doesn't bring it onboard...

    What's the consensus on Mexico?

Was checking out flights and a full week from Dec 7 to 14 at an all-inclusive is less than $1200pp for where I want to stay.
Heard that some resorts are doing daily rapid testing. Get tested every morning or something of the sort. No one wears masks. Test negative - carry on with your day. Test positive - quarantine in your room for god knows how long. Apparently it is working quite well, at least that's how the person explained it.

    Amazing!

And I am sure those who decide to go on said cruise are the most well informed people too!

Cruises are gross on the best of days and attended by the worst of society.

Imaging getting corona in Mexico sounds terrible
Sure you and others test, but then what if there’s a positive, can’t even drink the water there without getting the shits

    I prefer Pacifico, but whatev.

Honestly, travelling to Mexico for vacation feels more likely for me than anywhere else. Still relatively UNlikely but.....

I've been mildly sick on vacation in another country and man it sucks. Up to and including asking the hotel you're at if you can extend your stay a few days due to a flu and body aches. I can't imagine if you got really sick in Mexico. Is it the water? Is it corona? Was it the food, was it the street shot of tequila?

So few tourists get murdered in Mexico. I mean, it's basically hardly any! Totally worth it to save that money instead of going to Southern California or any other hot, beachy place.
When places like Acapulco have the military come in and literally take over the police station, you know you're dealing with a country that takes the safety of people as a top-15 priority.
Oh, and if I do so much as brush my teeth with their seemingly poisonous water I get a dysentery amount of blowies? Neat!

I think the percentage of tourists murdered in Mexico is lower than USA.
