What are the rules for flying withing Canada now if you are fully vaccinated but recently tested positive, say within 14 days. Do they let you board?

You lie and show your vaccine passport.
You might not even have to lie.

Just more evidence for my theory that testing yourself for Covid is stupid.

They don't give an ounce of a shit if you're positive. You simply upload your QR code during the online check in process if flying westjet. Flair made us show them at the gate. (Flew last week on both WJ and Flair)

No one else checks in the airport.

Back in November, it was security that was asking to see our vax pass. Airlines didn't look. Now it's opposite.

This isn't new. I've never had anyone look at a test since I started travelling in November.

weird, for us they have always asked for our antigen test, this for flight going to Europe and Hawaii. Maybe for mainland US they don't care much

Jamaica and 2 trips to Las Vegas and never asked. Two flights were with Westjet and didn't need to upload test results. Air Canada flight I had to upload test result but was never asked to see it at the airport. First trip back from Las Vegas no one asked to see the test result and I had to ask if they wanted to see it and at that point she replied 'Yeah sure, hopefully this ends soon'.

Westjet in Cancun made us show your negative tests at check in.

Please tell me how "normal" Las Vegas is. Where did you stay? What was fucked? What was awesome?

Not surprising but no change for Canadians in the near future for the masks, vaccine requirement for travel. When I went to Kelowna, there was a couple in front of us that asked the flight attendant about the masks and she had some strong words about our Federal government and how many businesses all over were stopping their mask use but they couldn’t. I imagine she’s really pissed off now that her American counterparts get to go maskless but no end in sight for her and her coworkers.

I have been looking and can't seem to find the new ever moving expiry date on this. That was the big thing at the start of this, is that when it comes to infringing on charter rights, they have to have an expiry date.

"Masks are proven to provide additional layers of protection and we will continue to follow the advice of our public health experts," he said.
Government following the governments advise. Seems about right.

I took a brief look to see if I could find a date for the current Fed mandates (masks/full vaxx for travel) to expire. I don't see one either. It may have been extended when the CDC extended theirs until May 2nd (which then got struck down by that judge)

A tiny good news story, Uber Canada is dropping their mask requirement on April 22. I haven't been wearing one since AB took the provincial mandate down and I've been telling my riders I just follow the provincial guidelines. And we all rejoice!

    Just back from Scotland.

Westjet going mental for the Vax pass at check-in, absolutely loving their lives being covid nazis by the looks of things on internal stuff

After that hulaballo was sorted, the YYC-YHZ flight had one covid nazi stewardess who luckily was in the front cabin.

    YHZ-GLA didn't really give a fuck

Got into Glasgow airport and had a good laugh with the gate crew about being out of a communist country finally

GLA-YHZ, westjet staff (or contractors) at Glasgow Airport scaring everyone about arrivecan and possible $800 fines for not filling it in, no-one going through customs at halifax asked about it, they were more concerned about getting you to take a picture on the new automated booths

YHZ-YYC, covid nazi stewardesses again, same with their staff inside the airport...most people not listening to them in YYC though, much to their indignation

I'd hazard that 40% of people on the flights/in the airports had masks but not wearing them properly, time for this to end...but it's probably the last fearmongering card the government hold
