What happens if the airline changes a direct flight to a connection through Vancouver with this new program? That happened to some friends of ours, and since the connection was Vancouver, their first point of entry on the way home would not be Calgary and they would need to quarantine. This was prior to the latest announcement though so maybe this prevents that too?

Better count on shit like that happening. They are selling 2x as many flights as they are flying.
And if you cancel your flight, no refund baby!

Not sure if google flight has the right data, so far no direct flights to HNL and only AC has a direct flight to OGG.

Qantas plans to require proof of COVID vaccination before allowing you on to an international flight:

Other carriers to follow soon? Tough to imagine US carriers doing this but we will see.

I wish that was the case for a variety of vaccinations. I know Singapore and a few other countries were debating doing that but I don't think anything ever came of it.

Sounds like there's going to be a opening for black market vaccine records soon

Westjet cancelled my flight to LA and rebooked it with different dates - They're only offering a 'travelbank' refund, but I'm looking to do a chargeback thru my CC. Anyone have tips on this?

I had zero problems getting a charge back from CapitalOne, it was far easier than dealing with West Jet and their travel bank (which expires). The fact that it expires I think was why they allowed the chargeback no questions asked, because there is no guarantee you can use it before it expires and you have to pay to extend it, so it's not even close to a cash equivalent.
