If you're in Canada and stuck with TSN, this is a no brainer. I would rather watch F1TV on a small iPhone screen than subject myself to TSN's fucking commercials.

For winter testing, it's been great. It's the only way to watch it. Great coverage, lots of tech talk.

If you have access to US VPN and have a friend who has US cable/satellite package, borrow their login and use the ESPN app. They have the sky broadcast for every session in 1080p/60fps. Best way to watch it. Not sure what devices support 60fps, AppleTV sure does. F1TV is 25fps only so its less smooth than your normal 30fps TV shows.

F1 TV in season allows you to choose cameras (driver in car, pit lane, etc). I'm planning on watching it on ESPN on the big screen and F1TV on iPad for driver cams.

Perfect, thanks. Yeah that's exactly what I am hoping to do. Is the lag that much or it's doable?

It’s the same as every streaming live sports. You’re going to be 30-45s behind someone watching on cable. Good thing nobody’s crazy enough to watch the whole season live with me haha.

Lots of good coverage though so far with the interviews and all that so I just keep it running in the background while I work.

First time watching full session replays of F1 Testing.

At first I thought "this is probably pretty boring 4 hours" but these commentators and the cars and rigs make it actually quite enjoyable! Lots of technical info, rumours, all around info.

Looks like there might be some TSN version of F1TV through their app and website for all of use who already subscribed
    https://www.tsn.ca/formula-1-tsn-and...sion-1.1451309
TORONTO (March 2, 2020) – In the lead-up to the 2020 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ™ season, a new multi-year media rights extension was announced today by Formula 1®, TSN, and RDS, ensuring that Bell Media’s sports networks continue to be the Canadian home of Formula 1 through the 2024 season.

TSN and RDS will continue to broadcast all Formula 1 races, as well as qualifying and practice sessions and encore presentations. This includes exclusive coverage of the CANADIAN GRAND PRIX – the most-watched motorsport event on Canadian soil.

With the new agreement, TSN and RDS subscribers now have access to a multitude of F1 live feeds available at once through the networks’ digital platforms, including the Multiplex player on TSN.ca and RDS.ca, and through the TSN and RDS apps.

    These all-new feeds include:

    Select Onboard Cameras
    Pit lane Channel
    Driver Tracker
    Timing Channel

I have zero trust in TSN. Their app on iPad is so bad that if you full screen, 10% of the screen is covered by a ticket that has no information. Then there's the commercials lol.

Their commercials are like they have a spiteful person with a button and every time something is about to happen they switch. That is not counting the the errors they have with commercials non stop or race audio gone etc.
I'll stick with f1tv anyways as their apps on ipad are decent. I wonder if the timing of f1tv will match TSN so I could just airplay the audio to the sonos and mute the tv.

Anyone know how to get around the login / signup thing bouncing back and forth? I still haven't been able to sign up. Including at work.

So annoying that the replays are on 2 day delay. It would be nice to wake up and watch the replay if the race is overnight.

EDIT: Read it wrong, it instant for Pro.
