    Looking to buy old gears and steampunk type of material. Where can I find in Calgary?

    Etsy will be your best bet for anything quality.

    Just go to a junkyard, cheap but you'll have to clean.

    I guess. Depends if you’re looking for costume type stuff or actual mechanical gears from engines etc. What’s your project?

    You can buy stuff like scrap gears and whatever parts from a place like Calgary Metal. They buy and generally sell scrap to the public. Federal metals is another good bet. IIRC both are on Odgen Road. I'm not too sure what you're trying to build,but those two are a good bet for starters. If I knew more about your intentions, I could make other suggestions.
