There's never going to be a green line anywhere. Funding will be pulled. I am pleased.

We dont have kids but there are a ton of new schools. There are 5 schools within 5 mins of driving from my house. The new 212 exit at the back of Cranston where I am is a HUGE help. Its used to be a disaster getting out of the new area of Cranston. Access to Seton is good as well. I imagine in 5-10 years once all the developments are done, we will see more traffic but the layout is really good. No lights, traffic circles and proper merge lanes help get the traffic moving quickly. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Your "Downtown" point is East Village though. Move it to the West End and it's 18min.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Have lived in Huntington, Renfrew and Mount Pleasant. For working downtown Renfrew was awesome. We walked to work five months of the year. Needed a larger house for all the babies, so got a duplex infill in Mount Pleasant. Love the neighborhood, and how close we are to things. My specific street has more cut-through traffic than most, so that's mildly annoying.
I think I've decided that my dream neighbourhood is Cambrian heights. There's some Awsome big yards on quiet streets in there. Mostly bungalows.

Pretty much anywhere in the rough rectangle between 19th street W, nose creek, 72nd Ave north and the bow River is fine by me.

I love bungalow neighborhoods. Just as long as the bungalow is minimum 1600 sq.ft. I wish they would build new ones like that.

I'm in Coach Hill, really like it. Many of the benefits of Aspen, without being Aspen. Plus we have a massive backyard, which is really tough to find in a newer area. Not a ton of places to eat around here, but we don't go out all that often so it's not really a big deal. Going to try to stay here for a few more years, then move to Springbank since we hate traffic and neighbors but still want to be in the SW.

Are 1600 sqft bungalows common in older bungalow neighbourhoods? I didn't see many when I was looking previously. I would love one too, especially a walk out. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I like Montreaux. 24 mins door to desk in rush hour. West edge of city. Little lacking on restaurants but I can easily live with that.
Sadly not unless it's been renovated. They are usually in the 1000 to 1400 range, with most around 1200 sq.ft.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
We have a smaller one at 1050, but hopefully will build an addition in a few years to make it 1600'ish. Will go from a rectangle to a Z shape.
I hear that there are a lot of new listings in Aspen due to the increased divorce rates.
The one we're moving to in a couple of weeks in Glamorgan is like this. 1067sqft on one level. Going to be a big change from the 2300sqft house we're leaving in Coventry Hills. Coventry Hills is nice, we love it. Everything is close, except for any interesting restaurants. It will be interesting to find new "local" places in Glamorgan. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
