    Default Home window tint

Can anyone recommend a good home window tint company? We’re moving into a new place in April that has large south facing windows/patio door. I’m thinking of a tint for UV and privacy (outside mirror effect). Any good recommendations?
    Cheers

I used Spectra Light years ago in my previous home on our west facing windows.
Overall I was pleased with the results - no bubbling / peeling etc. Plus the product totally cut the glare and offered some privacy without compromising the view from inside.

I keep thinking I need some heat and UV rejecting film on my large south facing windows. Would probably save me a fey bucks worth of AC.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

We have huge west-facing windows on the main floor and the walkout basement. Back in 2011, we used a small company called Sundown Solar.
Really nice guy, did a great job. Scott 403-253-0047 https://www.sundownsolar.ca/

That’s the thought with ours. Also wanting the privacy tint so I can leave the curtains open more.

I used Shadow Tinting, still looks as good as the day it was put in over 9 years ago.
