I was working at PPL in Projects just 5 months ago. These guys have big things in the works that they haven't even made news announcements about. They were already undervalued as it was, so getting them at a 50% discount now is great. Sure they might slip some more, but this is one of those times where it feels like there is no wrong move in buying a stock.

Race to the bottom is on. It would be nice if you could invest in the stock market with Bitcoin, because it would be a fools run to put US or Cdn dollars in only to come out with dollars that have been ravaged by a negative interest rate.

$117,000 is low income in San Fran. If negative interest rates hit, I can imagine it will take a decade before $200,000 US (per year) is considered low income. Which means of course, you couldn't hire someone to sponge bath your toes for less than a quarter million. In comparison, I believe Buzz Aldrin got paid military wage, or about $4,000 per year - for his efforts.

Smarter boomers are going to bail, change all their US dollars for seashells, never look at the stock market again - and take the Tiki hut in the tropics. This is a solid warning to the young people out there - when the boomers move you do not want to be on the opposite side of that trade.

Its not entirely impossible that 1 million US dollars per year will be considered low income. I give it 50/50 by the time I'm an old fart.
